Late 19th century art nouveau plique-a-jour yellow gold pendant brooch, the classic art nouveau design comprising 3 diamond and blue plique-a-jour enamelled flower headsto centre with drop diamond and pear-shaped pearl, approx. 6mm x 5.5mm, green plique-a-jour curved panels to each side, the shield shaped centre with honeycomb pattern white and green plique-a-jour enamel, reverse with detachable screw fitting brooch pin, measuring 67mm long (including drop) and 53mm wide. Condition Report: Overall good, plique-a-jour enamel losses to two thin inner sections of each wing, with some minor hairline cracks only to flower heads and central shield section good, very minor hairline cracks only. Gold work good, NB sympathetic repair to front section of 5 stamen, white diamonds and pearl drop in good order. Screw out brooch pin fittings in working order.

Condition Report: Overall okay, some visable damage and cracking to enamel, wear and tear to gold ring consistant with use.

A 19th century Vienna walnut wall clock, 18cm enamel dial with Roman chapter, two winding holes, eight-day movement, signed Becker, striking on a gong, the case with turned columns, 98cm high, early 20th centuryGustav Becker was born in Silesia in 1819, trained in Vienna until 1845 when he returned to Freiburg, starting his firm which by the 1860s had become a Europe-wide successful brand. He died in 1885, but the firm continued until 1930 when it was taken over by Junghans, it ceased to make clocks after the Second World War.
