A late 18th Century French gold and blue enamel circular box and cover, the top, sides and base enamelled in translucent blue over engine turned concentric circles and uniform pellets within opalescent bead borders, hallmarks for Paris 1774-1780 to interior, diameter approx 7.1cm, with green shagreen mounted circular case with hinge lid (shagreen case damaged).
