Scuffs and scratches it the dial. Dirt and dust to the recesses of the case. The small door to the base of the case doesn’t lock, requires a new catch. Glass is loose in the brass mount of the door. The hinge has broken off and requires replacement. The movement and working order of the clock can not be guarantee. Winding key attached.

Vol2 by B. Loomes as working from 1866-1885.
Henri Jacot, Paris, a 19th century French brass carriage clock, white enamel dial, the signed movement striking the hour and half on a gong, serial number 11899, 13 x 9 x 8cm. Henri and his nephew, also Henri Jacot, worked in Paris from 1822 to 1900. They were famous carriage clock makers, "probably the best of the Paris producers of carriage clocks towards the end of the 19th century." Henri Snr died in 1868; his nephew Henri Jacot became his successor in the business. The company closed in 1920.Overall condition is good for its age, the movement works but not guaranteed, the striking does not work, full wound, no key
A 19th century French ormolu and porcelain 8 day mantle clock, white enamel dial, the movement by Vincent & Cie, striking on a bell, the ornate case with floral pink panels, pendulum, key, 32cmVincenti was a much respected clock maker, a Corsican who set up in 1823 in Montbeliard using machinery of his own design. Following his death in 1834 his business was carried on by Roux et Cie throughout the 19th century as Vincenti et Cie who were awarded the Medaille d'Argent in 1855.

Frames both stand up. Some spots of tarnishing and light warping, also in keeping with age. The red frame has some losses to enamel.
