George Harcourt Sephton (1885-1923), Half-length portrait of a young boy seated back-to-front on a stick-back chair and holding an apple, inscribed to reverse Thomas Allan Workman, signed with monogram 'GS' and dated '1911,' also inscribed verso with both the sitter and artist's full name, enamel on copper, 12x11cm. A group of three 19th century yellow metal mourning brooches comprising two with plaited hair centre and half cut pearl border and another with black enamel and foliate border, lengths 40mm, 22mm and 25mm, gross weight 19.9g. Condition: no signs of any damage, clasps all in good working order, some dirt and minor general wear to pearls, inscription to rear of largest brooch.
