Also with other badges, International Horse Show Catalogue 1937, Horse of the Year Show Prize Schedule 1958, Richmond Royal Horse Show booklet (1957 and 1958), and a letter from Arundel Castle to Mr Holroyd for his help as Ascot etc.

White and blue, with RAC logo to top, and blue-on-white 'Free' notation to centre, within the right-facing white arrow. Printers marks for Burnham of London. Measures approx; 70cm x 54cm. To include; 3x vintage Bristol Omnibus ' Duty ' books - listing a drivers routes, workload and pay etc, along with a related Public Service Vehicle badge, Bristol Aero Engines enamel badge, ' Notes For The Guidance Of Members Of The Lancashire Constabulary ' booklet, ' Instructions For American Servicemen in Britain 1942 ' military booklet, and other items.
A rare and fascinating collection of personal effects and mementos all relating to a soldier from ' K ' Royal Naval Commando Group and ' 5 ' Beach Group, during the D-Day Landings in in June 1944. Comprising: an original German Uniform M34 Feldmutze forage cap - complete with cloth badges to front (originally found on the beach, behind enemy lines, after the retreat of German forces), the soldier's uniform cap and photograph (of soldier wearing said cap), a German ' AEG ' made dynamo hand torch, an Airgraph dated July 1943 from Burma, a selection of carved wooden items from Holland - accompanied by a note mentioning ' The people in Holland were starving by the time they were liberated. They carved any odd scraps of wood and swapped them with the British soldiers for food ', enamel mess cup, respirator, various newspaper cuttings, various typed and hand-drawn maps / stories of D-Day - including a rather detailed hand drawn map of the soldier's route through occupied France. At some point some of the effects were sent to a younger family member, and the accompanying letter details many of the items (some items on the letter are not present). A fascinating collection. Further provenance and name unknown.
A rare pair of Police Surrey Constabulary ' For Faithful Service ' medals - belonging to a Father & Son. The first issued to Thomas Wild and the other to Ernest Wild. Both with ribbons, and within their original issue boxes. Along with related badges and Thomas Wild's hallmarked silver and enamel masonic medals - both issued from the Surrey Cricketers Lodge. Each beautifully decorated and engraved with Wild's details. Also within their original boxes.
