The idea of the fountain pen is to symbolise the vision of the immensity of the Universe from inside a spaceship. There is a symbolic representation of the human technology of the third millennium that makes it possible to observe celestial bodies in all directions, including the great galaxy. Cosmos Enigma, created using the technique of bas-relief engraving and hand-applied precious enamel, is available in 1,912 fountain pens.

Movement untested, but winds and runs. Case tarnished and with age related marks. No key present, but easily obtainable.
A 19th Century French ormolu mantle clock, the white enamel convex Roman dial with Arabic five minutes, signed Jean De Lounoy, Paris, the bell striking drum movement with trademark initials J.E.D., the case with cupid and serpent surmount, blue silk lined floral grill sides upon a scrolling base, 42.5cm high, with pendulum and later key.Dial with some chipping around the adjustment square at 12 o'clock. Movement appears clean but not tested or guaranteed. Silk panels have been replaced. The case with a nice mellow gilt finish, with some tarnishing.
