A Gothic Revival enamelled gilt metal ciborium, of circular form enamelled with angel roundels and arabesque decoration, on moonstone cabochon set knopped pedestal circular base, the domed cover modelled as a church roof with four arched windows set with garnet cabochon finials with an orb and cross finial,35cm high CONDITION REPORT: Areas of loss to enamel. One of the fan shaped parts of gallery on cover has come off and been resoldered. Surface scratches to interior and exterior. Probable repair to collar of base of stem and splits beneath.Other fine cracks to foot, correspond to patches to underside so perhaps manufacturing flaws. Loss of surface to gilding to one section of foot.Please view additional images (upon request).
A silver gilt and enamel egg, by Anthony Elson, London 1979,the silver gilt pedestal egg cup with a cover naturalistically modelled and enamelled as an egg, revealing a `surprise` spring loaded, parcel gilt basket of eggs inside, numbered 56/200, 1.5cm high Anthony Elson (b.1935) trained at Brighton College of Art, before moving on to the Royal College of Art. His first job subsequently was at William Comyns Ltd. Then, in 1966, he took over a company that had produced traditional ecclesiastical designs. There he proceeded to start developing his contemporary designs. Examples of his work are in Salters` Hall, the Inner Temple London and Lincoln Cathedral.

Finger size approximately K CONDITION REPORT: Light scratches to the glazing.One amethyst chipped with wear to the crown facets under 10x magnification.Light scratches to the enamel with one small area of loss.
A late Victorian oval gold hinged memorial locket, with a split pearl rub set to the centre, to a black enamel ground and bale, hinged locket verso. Suspended on a later hollow rope chain, stamped 585. Austrian standard mark for Vienna 1925-to date. Locket tested as approximately 15ct gold, chain as approximately 14ct gold CONDITION REPORT: Very light surface marks throughout with no obvious damage.
A Victorian gold painted plaque brooch, with an oval plaque depicting a putto, resting his head in one hand. A `D` section hollow tubular frame with Etruscan style twisted wire decoration to a bloomed ground. Tested as approximately 9ct gold. 62 x 52mm CONDITION REPORT: Very minor scratches to the enamel under 10x magnification.Minor areas of tarnish but overall a good colour to the frame.

An Austro-Hungarian foiled quartz necklace, with a continuous row of ornate pierced links, each with a cabochon foiled quartz rub set to the centre, with a twisted wire surround, decorated with white enamel to a concealed box clasp. A matching centrepiece and additional links, previously removed, with a maiden holding a gem aloft and articulated pendant drop below CONDITION REPORT: Light surface scratches throughout with minor losses to the enamel.The extra links have more of the original gilding intact.The centrepiece has areas of tarnish, pendant drop deficient. Remnants in the cap suggest the drop may have been lapis lazuli.
A cased Austro-Hungarian silver moth brooch, with hinged hindwings. The naturalistic moth with niello enamel decorated forewings, the concealed hindwings hinged to reveal recesses, possibly for photographs. Austro-Hungarian 800 standard mark 1867-1872 CONDITION REPORT: No obvious damage.The recessed areas to the wings probably held photographs or images although there is to glazing present.49mm across the wings.
