A Chinese Cloisonné Jardinière, circa 1900, of semi-ovoid shape, with leiwen rim tasselled ruyi band, the main body worked with butterflies amongst stylised blossoms, with slightly angled circular foot, 26.5cm high, upon a carved hardwood stand, 36cm high overall Split on rim (probably in manufacture?) Numerous slight dents and flakes around the body. Large patch of missing enamel on the underside of the foot and other small areas of turquoise enamel loss on the underside of the foot and general rubbing and slightly denting of the foot rim. The wooden stand has one foot chipped off (piece not retained) and is slightly bleached and dry with further rim chips. 130613

A Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Snuff Bottle, Qing Dynasty, of flattened ovoid form, decorated in colours with scrolling lotus within formal borders, 6cm high; Two Porcelain Snuff Bottles, painted with insects; A Snuff Bottle, with carved figure decoration; and A Hardstone Snuff Bottle (5) All lacking stoppers. Cloisonné example with minor chipping and losses to enamel. Both porcelain bottles with some damage. Carved example with surface abrasions. Hardstone example with minor chips. 220513
A Liberty & Co Pewter Tudric Easel Timepiece, designed by Archibald Knox, model No.0482, of swollen square form with enamel honesty border, stamped TUDRIC 0482 MADE IN ENGLAND, 10cm square The strut is bent, the movement and the strut have been rubbing on the pewter back, nicks to the edges of the enamel, expected oxidation to the pewter, dirty and expected wear for age. A circular darker area to top of clock (possibly where something used to fit, or where something has been stood on it). Vienna regulator with damage and losses - is for restoration. A late 19th/early 20th century Jaipur enamel collar necklace (Guluband), Rajasthan Northern India, composed of a fringe of blue, red and white enamel drops inset with a lasque cut diamonds to the front, and enamelled in red, white and green to the back, each drop with bouton pearl and green enamel bead tops and suspending a tassel of smaller pearls with green enamel beads below, the centre crescent panel set with lasque cut diamonds and pale green stones and enamelled in red, green and white to the back, with seed pearl conical cluster connections to a gold thread back, approximately 40cm long. The Eye of Time (El Ojo Del Tempo), a 1950’s diamond set watch brooch after Salvador Dali, probably manufactured by Alemany & Ertman New York, the watch at the centre as the eye, with a blue enamel dial and black Arabic numerals signed ‘Dali’, the eye lids pavé set throughout with brilliant cut diamonds and a line of baguette cut diamonds, approximately 5.00 carats total, with a cabochon ruby in the left hand corner suspending a pavé set eight cut diamond tear drop, the 17 jewel Movado watch movement unadjusted, cal. 50 SP signed Movado Factories, stamped ‘Pt’ to the clip, 7cm long, in a green velvet Alemany & Ertman New York box. Created in 1949 by Salvador Dali, The Eye of Time is “An eye that sees all things”, and as Dali explained of this piece, “Man cannot change or escape his time. The eye sees the present and the future”. Dali entrusted the making of his jewellery designs to the New York workshop of craftsmen, Carlos Alemany and Ertman, who produced limited editions of the original jewels, including another example of The Eye of Time, now in the personal collection of Queen Sophia of Spain. The original jewels created by Dali are now on permanent exhibition at the Fundacio Gala-Salvador Dali in Figueres following their acquisition in 1999, having previously passed through the hands of a number of collectors. A pair of carved rock crystal and gem set swans by Boucheron, each swan carved from a single piece of rock crystal with realistically textured feathers, each with black enamel on the bridge of the beaks, cabochon emerald eyes and circular cut garnet collars, both standing on oval sodalite bases with four cabochon chrysoprases at the cardinal points, both signed Boucheron on the base mounts, stamped with French poinçons small guarantee for .750 standard and stamped ‘OR 750’, with maker’s mark for Societie Boucheron, 18cm high, both in the original cream suede fitted cases with white silk linings and gilt block lettering.
