Late 19th / early 20th century miniature carriage clock with French movement, platform escapement and circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, in a domed tortoiseshell case with silver foliate mounts and silver swing handle, four ball feet, with original green leather carrying case, 10.5cm overall height, including handle CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is reasonable. Movement appears to be in working order. Movement fits case but does not sit square and may not be original. Enamel dial has hairline cracks between III and IV and VIII and IX. Tortoiseshell case has some damage. Surface is dull, scuffed and scratched. Base and bottom rear left corner of case are damaged. Rear door is scuffed and slightly distorted. Bottom edge is worn. Inner frame may not be complete. Silver mounts are quite good except lower border which is damaged at both rear corners and may have been repaired at front corners. Feet are worn and two have some damage. Top handle securing nuts are odd.Carrying case is scuffed in places. Strap handle is damaged and part of it is missing. Interior worn.

A PRINCE OF WALES VOLUNTEERS OFFICER'S MAMELUKE AND SHOULDER BELT PLATE ENSEMBLE, 79cm slightly curved clipped back blade with spear point etched with a Greek key motif, the magic eye in the talismanic fashion, further etched with 82nd regiment of foot devices and the owner's initials, the back edge etched with maker's panel for Reddell, characteristic copper gilt hilt , the crossguard engraved with the magic eye to either side, two-piece ivory grips, contained in its gilt mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard, the upper mount with maker's panel and all of the mounts decorated with the magic eye and stands of arms, together with its companion enamel and silver highlighted gilt officer's shoulder belt plate. The initials are those of General Henry Adolphus CB Proctor the Colonel of the regiment. (2)
AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN NAVAL OFFICER'S DIRK, 30cm incurved diamond section blade decorated with laurel sprays, dated 1915 and bearing the cross of St George, regulation brass hilt with inscription to the recurved guard, the pommel set with an enamel cross of St George, ribbed brass grip, contained in its copper gilt mounted leather wrapped wooden scabbard, both mounts decorated with laurel sprays.
