A George V hallmarked silver mounted and purple guilloche enamel seven piece dressing table set, comprising hand mirror, length 25cm, hand brush, pair of coat brushes, comb (af), button hook and a shoe horn, Charles and Richard Comyns, London 1924, contained in leather suitcase with fitted interior (af), and with canvas cover, initialled UFM, 39 x 37 x 20cm, also a group of gloves including leather examples. CONDITION REPORT: Comb holder has major areas of loss to the enamel and with associated comb, also some losses to the enamel on the button hook which also has a detached handle, one of the coat brushes has losses to the enamel next to the edge. Mirror loose in frame. Some scratches throughout. The rest of the pieces appear to be in good condition. The fittings beneath the cover are intact but the silk compartments to the main part of the inside are distressed and the canvas cover with leather corners has traces of use commensurate with use, particularly rubbing to the corners and ripping around the handle aperture.

A pair of c.1900 Chinese bottle vases painted in enamel with chasing dragons amongst chrysanthemum and peony sprays on yellow ground with decorative bands to the rim and base, unmarked, height 20cm (one af). CONDITION REPORT: Major crack to the rim/neck of one of the bottles and crudely reglued with small loss.
A c.1900 French carriage clock, the swing loop handle above rectangular white enamel dial set with Roman numerals flanked by corner Corinthian columns to shaped bracket foot base, height 14cm. CONDITION REPORT: The balance cock is not moving, some tarnishing to the case, the dial is in good condition, requires attention to get it working.

Army Veterinary Department Victorian Officer’s Home Service Pattern Helmet. A rare example by L.Silberston, London. Blue cloth material with gilt peak edging, crosspiece, ball finial and rosettes. Gilt chinchain with black leather backing. Victorian pre 1901 helmet plate with AVD monogram in silvered metal on black enamel in the centre. Good roan leather headband and crimson silk lining, the interior with maker’s stamp. Minor moth to band, gilt elements slightly dull, Evidence of another helmet plate fitted at some time. otherwise GC.
German Third Reich 1938 Gau Victor’s Badge in National Trade Competition. A good scarce die-cast bronze example. Laurel wreath mounted with cream enamelled disc inscribed “Gaulsieger 1938”; mounted on the disc, a bronze eagle on cogwheel bearing red, white and black enamel Hitler Youth diamond. Reverse with flat tapered pin and raised maker’s details ‘G. Brehmer, Markneukirchen’. Slight enamel damage to top section of diamond otherwise VGC. Instituted by DAF head, Robert Ley, in 1934.

German. Third Reich Old Comrades Association standard bearer’s gorget. A good polished aluminium example mounted with two pairs of crossed standards; to the centre, superimposed on the standards, an open oak wreath bearing red, white and black enamel association shield with monument and swastika. Two gilt pateri bosses support the hooks for the flash gilded chain of alternate Iron Cross and swastika links. Felt backing replaced, two thirds of chain absent otherwise still fresh condition.

Gilt circular clasp, the outer circle with oakleaf pattern loops and inscribed with regimental title, the centre bearing the Dragon in white metal. Badge. Imperial Fascist League 2nd pattern membership badge circa 1934-40 A good scarce pinback example. Red, white and blue enamel disc on Union Flag design surmounted by a lion; central white disc with black swastika. VGC The Imperial Fascist League was formed 1928 in London, one of the early leaders was Captain Arnold Leese. This organisation had close links with Germany during the 1930’s with members visiting. This organisation had in the region of 150 members. Disbanded 1940.

German Third Reich 2nd pattern RLB dagger by Paul Weyersberg, Solingen,. A good scarce nickel plated example adopted in 1938. Black turned ebonised grip with applied silvered star bearing black enamel swastika; the langet bearing stylised eagle and swastika. Blade retains most original finish and bears maker’s oval logo. Housed in its black nickel mounted scabbard with hangre. Minor service wear. Generally VGC RLB was the Air Raid Precautions.

Nickel plated turn up quillon and pommel with two piece black chequered composition grip inlaid with red and white enamel HJ swastika diamond. Housed in black painted scabbard with brown leather belt loop retaining press stud securing strap. Minor service wear. GC Introduced in 1933 with the motto “Blut und Ehre” on the blade. Motto discontinued in August 1938.

German Third Reich 1st Class Faithful Service Decoration in case of issue. A fine gilt example with black enamel swastika on cornflower blue ribbon with original brooch fitting (awarded for 40 years service). House in its red fitted case of issue bearing 40 within a wreath on the lid. Award VGC, a little wear to case. Following the first mention of such awards in late 1935, the Faithful Service Decorations were instituted by Adolf Hitler on 30th January 1938, designed by Professor Richard Klein
