An English porcelain inkstand, a Davenport two handled mug and sundry porcelain Condition Report: Lot 400: Chamberstick - Rubbing to green enamel. New Hall teapot - Firing crack to top of handle where it joins pot, otherwise good. Small sparrow beak - Hair crack to rim near handle, frits to spout. New Hall jug - Flat chip to tip of spout. Meissen cup - Handle off and lacking. Two handled cup - (Chelsea Derby not Davenport as stated) - Slight chip to rim, gilt rubbed, scratched interior. Tea bowl initialled FB - Slight rim chip. Small tea bowl - Long, faint hair crack. Inkstand - The sockets where the wells sit have been heavily restored and one is loose. All three wells are restored as are the two covers (one cover missing). 5 custard cups with 3 covers - Two cups badly chipped to rims, one cover neatly glued from 2 pieces with small area of loss. One cover heavily and badly glued with lots of yellowed residue.
A late 18th Century Lombardy escritoire with gilded mouldings to the rosewood frieze drawer set with marble specimens and with landscape enamel handle, the fall with central green marble oval panel surrounded by marble specimens on a rosewood and purpleheart ground within ebonised flat stop fluted corner columns, the base with two panelled doors set with marble specimens within Ionic corner columns and on square tapering panelled feet, the sides panelled and set with gilt wood mouldings, the walnut and purpleheart interior with two rows of four drawers flanking pigeon holes, 160cm x 97cm/see illustration Condition Report: Lot 629 Top slightly warped, side veneers split in places, some panels loose but present, some beaded moulding missing, fall with splits, central oval with loose and missing moulding, pillar to the left with split and missing flute, small sections of beaded moulding loose and missing in places. Two specimens missing, central porcelain drawer roundel cracked one specimen replaced with wax.

(illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 864: Good condition, has been made larger, additional section to shank evident. Three diamond section on enamel does rotate but appear well held. Enamel, engraving,shoulders all crisp and undamaged. Stones do show different cuts ie. some mine cut one single cut but no apparent replacements. A pair of Chinese Cloisonne vases, Late Qing Dynasty (1664-1912) Each of rounded bulbous form, rising to a flared everted rim , the body delicately inlaid with fine silver wire depicting several mythical beasts including several Shishi in pursuit of brocade balls, Qilin amidst trailing ribbons and four-clawed dragons before fire scrolls, reserved against a pale blue ground, below aventurine and lotus flowerhead borders, 19cm high. (2) CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1000: First Vase- Inner green rim has several impact fractures, to enamel. Several losses to enamel at inner rim. Large area of impact fractures at the body of the vase, with large area of loss to the enamel, approx 3cm x 2cm in size. Secondary impact fracture approx 1cm x 1cm with associated losse. Second vase- Small areas of loss to the enamel at the inner green rim. One impact fracture with associated losses to the enamel, approx 1cm x 1cm. Small dents to the footrim. Hairline crack to body approx 5cm in length.

A Japanese Satsuma koro, Late Meiji Period (1868-1912) Of scalloped quatrefoil form in the form of a flowerhead, the four short swept paw feet supporting the rich cobalt body, painted with alternating fan shaped panels detailed with floral sprays and bijin within waterside landscapes, rising to a domed reticulated fixed cover, signed, 11cm high. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The cover is fixed, possibly indicating that it has bee glued previously Crazing visible to the under side of the blue enamel Several repaired cracks visible to the pierced cover Extensive loss tot he gilt at the upper area Small loss to the enamel throughout.

(2) (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 1033: 1st Vase Extensive loss and wear to the enamel at the finial, minor scratching to the enamel and gilt at the cover, glaze yellowing visible to the interior of the vase, small shallow chip to the foot rim approximately 0.5 - 1cm in size, minor scratching to the enamel and gilt throughout, uneven base so doesn't sit properly straight. 2nd Vase Extensive rubbing and wear to the gilt and enamel at the finial, applied filler at the inner rim, darkened crazing at the rim of the cover, rubbing and wear to the gilt and enamel throughout.

A Chinese cloisonné jardinière, Late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) Of rounded ovoid form, raised on a spreading circular base, the exterior sides with four alternating panels filled with five-clawed dragons in pursuit of the flaming pearl and further detailed with fire scrolls, reserved against a black ground, detailed with silver wire-work orchids and lotus suspended from scrolling tendrils, between traditional scroll and ruyi borders, 23cm high, 21cm diam. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: large impact fracture to the yellow roundel, crack approx. 4cm in length and has penetrated the surface, extensive enamel loss to the interior small dents and mis-shaping to the footrim small dents and impact fractures visible to the exterior sides, with associated enamel loss to the interior small dents and mis-shaping to the upper rim pitting to the enamel throughout the exterior small losses to blue enamel at the interior.

A Chinese famille rose 'Wu Shuang Pu' vase, late 19th Century Of square section, rising to a tapered and flared rim, flanked on either side with iron-red mask and ring handles, each of the facetted sides, painted with a depiction of one of the forty peerless heroes after the painter Jin Guliang, depicting Fu Sheng (an influencial scholar), Xiang Yu, (one of the most prominent generals in Chinese history) Ban Chao (a prominent cavalry commander) and Tao Yuan Ming (an influential pre-Tang Dynasty Chinese poet), further detailed with a series of prose and inscription from the original text, 31.5cm high. A large and impressive Chinese Canton famille rose vase, Circa 1860 The baluster form vase, gently rising to a sloped neck and terminating at a scalloped flowerhead rim, the neck flanked by twin solid gilt shishi and cub handles, the body further relief moulded with wrythen three-clawed gilt dragons, the body painted with a series of fan shaped cartouche filled with dignitaries holding court, reserved against a trellis work and floral spray ground, further enamelled with precious objects and musical trophies , and reserved against a burnished gilt ground, mounted on original carved hardwood stand, 86cm high. (illustrated) CONDITION REPORT: The vase is in structurally sound condition and is free from any cracks or chips. The gilt has extensively rubbed away from the relief area, most noticeably the handles and the dragon relief designs Lower foot rim has extensive scuffing and wear to the foot rim, however free from chips Enamel and further gilt ground has minor wear to the enamel.
