An Arts and Crafts mantel clock, circa 1900, in the style of George Walton, the brass case with domed top above a rectangular body flanked by tall tapering square-section columns terminating with bun finials, circular white enamel dial with Roman numerals, above an inset oval Ruskin-style crystalline plaque, raised on four bun feet, 35cm high.
A French Empire style three piece alabaster and gilt metal clock garniture, the clock in a drum shape case, mounted with a lion motif, ribbon ties and scrolls, white enamel dial with rose festoons, cylinder movement, signed P Bonnet & P Pottier, Paris, striking on a bell, casing supported by twin columns, 37cm, flanked by two light candelabras, 32cm (3).

Ltd. interest: a pair of painted enamel miniature portraits on gold, of Sebastian & Harriet Garrard, painted by John Simpson, July 1851 and 1852, in original fitted brown leather case; a volume of Garrard, The Crown Jewellers for 150 Years, by Charlotte Gere and John Culme with William Summers, quartet books, signed by William Summers and dated November 1993; two copies of The History of Garrard, by William Summers; one volume of Royal Goldsmiths: The Garrard Heritage, privately printed 1991; eight Garrard annual catalogues; two card boxes; one Garrard Retailer's bag; and a framed rubbing taken from the tomb of Thomas & Alice Garrard, centred by family crest. NB Sebastian Garrard (1798-1870), was the youngest son of Robert Garrard, who took control of the company in 1802, and took over with the partnership of his two brothers, Robert and James. A mid 19th Century yellow metal cased fob watch, the white enamel roman dial with blue enamelled case back, decorated with star design, each set with a senaille cut diamond, fitted a movement by Rossel & Fils, successor of J.S. Boutte & C.E., Geneva, No. 82880, 1 1/4in. (3cms) wide; fitted with a watch chain of yellow metal, with blue guilloche enamel links terminating in a movement key, chain 7in. (18cms) long, 27grms gross overall. See illustration
A Georgian triple cased pocket watch, manufactured for the Turkish market, the circular white enamel dial with black Turkish numerals and signed 'Eardley Norton, London', the movement signed 'Geo. Charle, London, No. 18823', with a plain circular silver case hallmarked London 1786, approximate diameter 47mm, the silver dust cover also marked for 1794, maker's mark W.B., approximately 60mm diameter, the tortoiseshell outer case with silver mounts, beaded decoration and brass back, diameter approximately 70mm. Cartier: a gentleman's automatic two-tone wristwatch, the white enamel dial with black roman numerals, date to right hand side, the back stamped 'AC 23,80 GR OR 0,750 4,05 GR AUTOMATIQUE, with Montres Santos paperwork and certificate indicating purchase date '12/10/92' and serial no. 987901/03266, case measurements 29 x 40mm approximately.
A Chinese silver enamel and jadeite matching bracelet and ring, the bracelet set with three carved and pierced floral panels of jadeite within floral enamel work on filigree ground, 20cms long; the matching ring with single carved jadeite flowerhead, within filigree mount and enamel floral shoulders, expandable shank.
An Edwardian Art Nouveau pendant, set with facet cut amethyst in millegrain mount below enamel petals within yellow metal scrolls, with drop below (originally holding pearl now missing), stamped '375' to reverse, on a yellow metal oval and circular tracelink chain, bell clasp, the tongue stamped '10' and engraved '9246', the pendant 3cms high.
An early 20th Century amethyst, seed pearl and yellow metal pendant, the oval facet cut amethyst claw set within floral mount, set with six seed pearls on knife edge bar, on a yellow metal twist link chain stamped '9kt'; an Edwardian aquamarine and seed pearl bar brooch, the four circular facet cut aquamarines millegrain set centred by a single seed pearl; a Victorian gilt metal knot and buckle pattern brooch; a Victorian gilt metal black enamel mourning brooch, with portrait photograph to centre; and a Victorian costume brooch with faceted 'amethyst' glass stone set to centre, cut down collet mount within a gilt metal floral pattern border. Holth: a twisted bow pattern brooch with white guilloche enamel decoration, set in silver gilt, 6cms wide; Aksel Holmsen: a pair of crescent pattern earrings, with white guilloche enamel and in silver gilt, each 2cms wide; and David Andersen: a bracelet of leaf links, with white guilloche enamel in silver gilt, 18cms long. Opaque twist wine glass, attributed to Beilby, the round funnel bowl painted with fruiting vines in white enamel, on double series opaque twist stem with pair of multi-ply (eight approx) spiral thread bands enclosing four spiral threads, on conical foot, mid 18th Century, height 14.5cms. See illustration PROVENANCE Lot 118 dated 2nd September 1986 Anderson & Garland, Newcastle upon Tyne, £507.60. NOTE It has been observed that this opaque twist stem form was much favoured by Beilby.
English 'Dry Edge' porcelain figure of Winter, modelled as a seated putto figure wrapped with a cloth around his head, arms and upper body, but with bare legs showing, seated upon a tied sack, on cartouche shaped base, traces of cold enamel colours, probably Derby, probably mid 18th Century, height 9.5cms. A fine quality late George III mahogany wash stand, the hinged top opening to reveal compartments and a central rising mirror, on ratchet support, a slide below with writing slope, a further lead-lined drawer fitted a blue and white wash bowl and enamel soap dish, deep drawer to the right-hand side, further drawers below, all fitted lion mask ring handles with brass carrying handles to the sides, raised on square tapering legs and brass castors, 27 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 37in. high.
