Fine quality late nineteenth century Imperial German Presentation gold, enamel, diamond and sapphire set stick pin, decorated with the crowned Imperial eagle, with original blue velvet-covered box with gilt embossed crown to lid, retailed by J. Wagner & Sohn, Berlin. Sold with handwritten note stating that the stick pin was presented by the Kaiser in 1894
Formerly the property of HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother - Halcyon Days silver mounted enamel box made for the St. Paul's Cathedral Appeal, London 1971 and presented by the Lord Mayor of London, Sir Peter Studd, to The Queen Mother, at a reception on 8th November 1971 at the Mansion House, London. The box is in its original grey leather presentation box, which along with the silver mount was specially commissioned from Halcyon Days by the Lord Mayor, for presentation to the Queen Mother. HM Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, then gave the box to her most trusted butler, William Tallon for his birthday on 12th November 1971. She was so impressed by it, she decided to commission her own boxes, which led the rest of the Royal Family to do the same and for Halcyon Days to receive four Royal Warrants. Sold with William Tallon's handwritten letter of provenance on Clarence House headed paper - a letter from Susan Benjamin of Halcyon Days, confirming the history of the box and her book - The First Twenty-Five Years of Halcyon Days Enamels. This box was sold by these rooms - The William Tallon Collection, 5th July 2008 - Lot 402
Edwardian silver Art Nouveau-style desk clock of square form with shaped handle, on four ball feet, traces of presentation inscription, circular white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, lever escapement (Chester 1906), maker - W. N., 15cm overall height to handle CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is good with dents and surface scratching commensurate with age and use. Some surface damage to case, specifically, top is worn through and has holes to top rear left corner and front right corner. Dents in both side panels and front right foot is pushed in. Engraving is worn and marks are worn. Movement has replacement escapement and one mounting screw is a replacement. We are unable to confirm whether the movement is in full working order

Antique Indian Mogul-style gold enamel and pearl pendant, the champlevé enamel panel decorated depicting four birds within foliage, the reverse with central blister pearl / mother of pearl surrounded by half pearls, overall length is 45mm x 25mm wide CONDITION REPORT Enamel in good condition, the blister pearl is badly damaged, unsure whether it is a blister pearl or mother of pearl. George III gentlemen's silver pair-cased pocket watch with fusee movement and verge escapement, signed - 'Jno. Lambert, London' and numbered 8209, with white enamel dial, in pair silver cases - both with maker's mark - J. B. London 1802, overall diameter of outer case 55mm CONDITION REPORT Movement not working. The fusee chain is intact but the balance wheel does not move when given a gentle shake. The watch case is engraved with the name 'J. Boreham', contemporary with the date of the watch. There is a solder repair to the inside of the case near the junction with the suspension post and hinge. The cases are both quite dented and the push-button, the outer case has worn away. Both cases original to the watch and hallmarked London 1802. Enamel dial is perfect

Late nineteenth century carriage clock with French eight day movement, no. 2384, striking on a gong, lever escapement, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, in a silver mounted tortoiseshell case with applied initial 'T' and scroll motto - 'Time Tryeth Truth', ornate swing handle, on four fluted ball feet (London 1893), 15cm overall height to handle CONDITION REPORT Upon close inspection it would appear that the movement is likely to be a replacement and probably taken from a carriage clock, as the dial behind the tortoiseshell is an enamelled rectangular plate and the platform on which the movement sits is relatively crude. Tortoiseshell is damaged to the front at 9 o'clock. Rear door is cracked and base panel has been broken and has piece missing. There are crude lead solder repairs to feet. We are unable to say whether or not the movement is in full working order
