A brass mounted mahogany bracket clock circa 1900, height 22cm.Condition: some minor wear to dial including small chips to enamel around key holes, minor chip to glass on the inside, some slight discolouration to top of case, otherwise good condition overall, not currently running, appears over wound although will strike when hands moved on - key present.
A Martin Brothers stoneware mantel clock by Robert Wallace Martin, the eight day movement with white enamel dial, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing the inscription "Examd by Lund & Blockley", housed within a blue and brown glazed "cottage" case with pitch roof and floral spray column decoration, inscribed verso "No-10-R.W.Martin 8C-10-74" CONDITION REPORTS Some surface scratches, scuffs, accretions, etc. Numerous firing cracks. A small chip to the corner of one of the roof slabs. Also a small chip to the raised band above the foot. Some discolouration and surface scratches and staining to the clock dial. Chips to the enamel around the edges of the key holes. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details.
