dating: 19th Century provenance: Indopersia, A khula-khud with hemispheric cap, cusp of rhomboid section on a knot and a base shaped as a truncated cone at the top, sliding nosepiece (missing screw), two lateral plume-holders, the surface richly engraved, carved, pierced and partially decorated with floral motifs, Arabic incriptions on the main cartouches, the space below the pierced segments is covered with red enamel (?), cartouches featuring Arabic inscriptions on the border, complete of a mail neck-defence formed by small rings with simple closure. A red cloth scabbard inside. With its round shield, convex at the center, with four gold-inlaid studs scalloped at the base, brass reinforced border; the entire surface is decorated en suite with the khula-khud, the inscriptions of the central cartouche are gilded on the borders. A brown cloth scabbard inside (small damages) and four rings for the missing handles. Very scarce ensemble. height circa 60 cm.
