An early 20th Century Japanese / Oriental gilded porcelain / ceramic Satsuma Figure. Depicting two men side by side in ornate traditional robes with gold glaze & floral enamel patterns. On the left a barefooted man with a jovial expression is seen holding a fan. The figure on the right wearing amour & boots standing in a martial arts style pose. Marked to the base in red glaze stating " Satsuma ware, Made in Japan". Condition; fan has been repaired & glued on facing the wrong way. Various signs of glaze ware & some small chips to edges. Measures approx; 26cm tall.
