A late-Victorian 9ct gold cased half hunter pocket watch by Sir John Bennett Ltd., London, keyless fob wind, with `The Spartan` 15-jewel gilt three quarter plate Swiss movement, signed white enamel Roman dial with outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at six o`clock, blue steel hands, plain case with black Roman chapter ring to front.
A French gilt bronze miniature mantel clock c.1800, the watch movement with verge escapement, fusee and chain, the Breguet style enamel dial with sweep centre seconds and subsidiary hour and minute and date dials, dial wind, pierced gold hands, within a gilt bronze case with archer figure and quiver surmount, on a plinth base with turned toupie feet, 6¾in. (17cm.) high, a/f, movement loose, lacks glass, in a later glass dome with ebonised stand. .
A Chinese silver gilt, enamel and stone set wine ewer, goblets and tray probably mid-20th century, the ewer, goblets and borders of the tray chased with foliage and blossoms centered by turquoises on a matted ground, some foliage enamelled, the bottle shaped ewer with scrolled handle, domed cover and serpentine spout, the body decorated with high relief scenes in shaded enamel of a cat chasing butterflies amidst peonies, the goblets also decorated with conforming flowers, the ewer marked `Silver`, the tray also marked `NS1 Sterling`, gross weight 120oz., the tray 19 5/8in. (50cm.) long, the ewer 11¼in. (28.5cm.) high.
A pair of Chinese porcelain fish decorated bowls with Daoguang seal marks in underglaze blue, possibly of the period, the footed bowls with everted rims, decorated to the exterior with iron red, black wash, black, green and blue-green enamel with fish swimming amidst water weed, the interiors painted in underglaze blue with a roundel depicting a peasant on a water buffalo, a female deity and a flock of birds beneath stylised clouds, the rim with further cloud and bird decoration, 5 7/8in. (15cm.) diameter. (2) .
A Chinese silver gilt, jade and enamel covered canister 20th century, the cylindrical canister in silver filigree with pierced `door` style panels with enamelled floral decoration and loose ring handles between enamelled columns, the foot and neck with rounded pale jade collars and ruyi head enamelled borders, the peaked filigree cover set with red and green stones and enamelled discs, marked `Silver`, 5½in. (14cm.) high. .
