Movement numbered 3009223. Case hallmarked for Birmingham date letter M 1886, makers mark for Waltham Watch Company. With a silver watch chain and fob. Gross weight 112.4g. Face measures 41mm diameter.
An early 19th Century Edward VII silver hallmarked open face pocket watch. The white enamel face having a Roman numeral chapter ring with subsidiary seconds dial to six and marked for H.C. Baldwin Blackpool. Movement marked for Waltham Mass, numbered 8829105. With a silver hallmarked Albert watch chain and T-bar. Gross weight 121.8g. Face measures 42mm diameter.
A JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL BALUSTER VASE MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY The ovoid body decorated with sprays of flowering chrysanthemum, daisies and other flowers, with three small sparrows flying above, all on a dark midnight-blue ground, the neck and foot with bands of lappets and other geometric designs, with metal mounts stamped jungin (silver) underneath, 21.5cm.

A SMALL JAPANESE CLOISONNE ENAMEL BOX AND COVER, KOBAKO MEIJI PERIOD, 19TH CENTURY OR LATER Of circular convex form, the body and lid decorated with a design of butterflies fluttering amongst many flowerheads on a baby blue ground, 8.5cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of Richard Gordon Smith (1858-1918) and thence by descent. Gordon Smith was an English traveller, sportsman and naturalist who lived in Japan at the turn of the century, recording his experience in his "Ill-Spelled Diaries" and transcribing traditional myths which he later published in "Ancient Tales and Folklore of Japan" (1908). Entries from his diaries were later published in "Travels in the Land of the Gods: The Japan Diaries of Richard Gordon Smith" (1986).
