A 19th Century French gilt brass and porcelain cased clock garniture, the French 8-day movement with circular porcelain dial with painted figural decoration CONDITION REPORTS Unknown if working. There are losses to the enamel, jewel work and gilding throughout. some discolouration and pitting to the metal work. One of the metal scrolling acanthus leaves has a chunk missing to the middle. One of the garnitures has had a large crack and appears to have been restored although a bit is missing, as has the other. There is a crack to the metal work of one of the handles. A Meiji Period Satsuma vase decorated with panel of woman and children amongst bamboo and two women and children by flowering tree and riverside verso, the dark blue ground with all-over scrolling foliate decoration, raised on a circular foot CONDITION REPORTS Approx 12.5 cm in height. all over crazing. General wear and tear v=conducive with age and use to include loss to the enamel and gilding. Some light scratching etc. Measures approx 12.3 cm - see images for further details
An early 19th Century Chinese polychrome decorated plate, the central panel decorated with figures and goat in a garden setting, within a floral decorated border, mounted on a velvet covered wall plaque CONDITION REPORTS Approximately 23.2 cm in diameter. The plate only, including the felt mount - approx 32 cm. Plate has a large chunk broken to the bottom right hand and the four pieces are there. Has wear to the enamel and paintwork as well as some surface scratching etc. General wear and tear. Pinned to the backing - unable to see the back. A collection of various pottery and porcelain to include Delft vase with floral decoration, signed to base "CP Kam", a slipware dish monogrammed "MP", a creamware glazed fireside ornament as a recumbent lion, a Chinese glazed porcelain model of a finger citron and a squash, prunus blossom decorated lamp, two tea bowls, various saucers, two Chelsea style squat candlesticks, cream jug and an ironstone serving dish CONDITION REPORTS The Delft vase has several large chips to the top and base as well as chipping to the glaze in various places to the body. Slipware dish has crazing to the glaze as well as surface scratching. The fireside ornament or lion has been broken in half and re-glued, chips all over to the glaze. Prunus lamp - the ginger jar has been drilled through the bottom and top. The tea bowls and saucers all have some roughness or minor nibbles/chips to the edges apart from the pink hued saucer which is broken in half. Chelsea candlesticks have been badly broken and repaired, re-painted , have hairline cracks, loss to the gilding, enamel, paintwork etc. Cream jug has crazing to the glaze, discolouration and staining all over both inside and out and ironstone serving dish has losses to the gilding and enamel and has an adhesive sticker stuck to the back. All items have general wear and tear to include losses to the paintwork, some minor chips etc, surface scratches, in need of a clean - see images for more details
An 18th Century Chelsea or Derby frill vase and cover with floral encrusted and pierced decoration, the baluster-shaped body decorated with exotic birds amongst foliage CONDITION REPORTS The finial on the lid has been off and re-glued and there seems to have been some work to the underside. There are losses to the flowers etc throughout and various chips to the ribbon work. The main vase is in a similar condition and there is an area of ribbon work completely missing to one side at the top and to the same section to the right hand side. Crazing all over, discolouration, various firing faults throughout especially noticeable to the base. Measures approximately 30 cm total height. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include surface scratches, wear to the enamel and gilding. In need of a good clean etc. See images for further details
Three 19th Century Chinese polychrome decorated bowls, the centre field depicting a waterside garden landscape, two Continental porcelain pedestal bowls with floral encrustation, and two Japanese blue and white printed plates CONDITION REPORTS All three Chinese bowls have a roughness to the edge, various chips etc plus wear and losses to the gilding and enamel throughout plus various firing faults. Measures approx 22 - 23 cm in diameter each. The Continental bowls have some losses to the floral decoration throughout. Bases may have been re-glued to the tops o both as there is yellowing to the underneath. Pair of blue and white plates - both have large hairline fractures and chips to the edges as well as further hairline cracks throughout, firing faults etc. All items have firing faults, general wear and tear, surface scratches, in need of a clean etc - see images for further details
A bag containing a Citizens gents wrist watch, a Favre-Leuba wrist watch, a Cyma wrist watch and a Rotary wrist watch, together with a pair of 9 carat gold plated cufflinks, a pair of silver cufflinks, a further pair of cufflinks and assorted tie pins CONDITION REPORTS The rectangular faced Citizens watch has surface scratching all over, both to the glass and the strap. Unknown if in working condition though the second hand is going round. Date marker is in both English and French, no'd to back. Wear and tear conducive with heavy use. The Cyma watch - the glass has several large cracks/scratches and areas of rusting/pitting to the case. The face itself has scratches and wear to the enamel - again, unknown if in working order. The bracelet appears to be a replacement and has surface scratches etc throughout - see images for more details.
