A LATE 18TH CENTURY WELSH OAK LONG CASE CLOCK, with eight day movement, the arched brass dial with gilt metal spandrels and roman numerals, inscribed "R Williams Swansea" applied to an enamel dial, the hood with swan neck pediment and fluted angle pillars, the trunk with long shaped door flanked by fluted quadrant pilasters, the plain base on bracket feet. Dial Width 12". Width 14". Height 82".
A SMALL SUITCASE OF MASONIC REGALIA, containing Middlesex Provincial Apron and Jewel; Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Stewards Medals, 1916, 1918, 1921, 1922; Duke of Connaught Medal 1917; Founders Medal "Avenue Chapter 3231"; Masters Silver Square; 9 Carat Gold "Burdett Chapter No.1293" Medal; 9 Carat Gold & Enamel Masters Medal "Nonus Lodge No: 2893" (1910-1911); a Silver Gilt "London" Masters Medal; a 9 Carat Gold "Honorable Testimonial of Masonic Charity & Benevolence" instituted by Duke of Sussex Medal, together with an overpainted photograph of the Freemason in his regalia, displaying some of these medals.
A SWANSEA PORCELAIN ARMORIAL "MANDARIN" PATTERN PLATE, from the Thomas LLoyd Service, painted in enamel colours with Chinese figures within a border of bird vignettes and gilt foliate scrolls enclosing a boar crest and motto "Dduw bor Diolch". Printed red "Swansea" mark. Diameter 8". Restored. (See lot 439 for illustration).
A PAIR OF "DRESDEN" ENAMEL PAINTED MALE & FEMALE FIGURES, of flower sellers, the male holding flowers and fruit in his apron with one hand, and a posy in the other with a dog at his feet, his companion with a basket of flowers before her, also holding a posy, the circular bases with gilt Greek fret borders. Transfer printed factory mark and impressed M10887. Height 8.5".
A GARNITURE OF THREE CARLTON CLOISONNE WARE BLACK GROUND VASES, with chinoiserie overall pattern of oriental flowering plants, birds and cranes reserved and filled in with enamel colours, an Hexagonal Vase & Cover, Height 11.5", and a Pair of Square Tapered Vases with canted angles, Height 8". Blue transfer printed factory marks and black transfer printed ware marks.
A late 19th/early 20th Century Cantagalli shoulder-length pottery bust of a young child in the manner of Della Robia, 11.5ins high (chipped around edge), and a pair of Staffordshire pottery spill vases in the form of a huntsman and his female companion, both with dogs, standing by rustic stumps, 6.75ins high (one head repaired, slight damage and green enamel flaking)
A 1920s silvery metal and enamel cased travelling timepiece, the 1.625ins gilt dial with Arabic numerals to the eight day Swiss movement, mounted in enamelled easel stand in the Art Deco manner, the front enamelled in pale blue, cream and yellow, on engine turned and engraved ground, 3.25ins x 5.75ins overall
A 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY LONG CASE CLOCK, by Andrew Bartley, Bristol, the enamel dial with rolling ship in arch, floral and shell spandrels, of eight day movement striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment with fluted frieze, attached fluted columns, the trunk with oblong door, canted fluted corners, inlaid with satinwood and ebony lines, on bracket feet, 88in. (223.5cms) high .
Eight Minton tea cups and saucers, one decorated with turquoise leaf chains (labeled 'As supplied to 10 Downing Street for presentation by Mrs Wilson to the wife of the Italian Prime Minister Signora Moro 1965,), another painted in black enamel with lake landscape, another with branch handle and green banding, another painted with leaves and berries, four others painted with scattered flora, (some damages) (16)
