Quantity (12) of London Transport bus & coach stop enamel E-PLATES comprising an assortment of Central Area and Green Line routes including an unusual red-on-white example for the 51 'Sunday Alighting Point', presumably for the Bromley Garage or Farnborough Hospital journeys. Generally in very good condition, a couple would benefit from a clean. [12].
London Transport ENAMEL SIGN 'DANGER OVERHEAD REPAIRS' as fitted to the AEC Mercury tower wagons used to erect, maintain & dismantle the overhead wires of the London trolleybus system from 1936-62. This is one of the exact replica signs manufactured for the LT Museum (marked LTM 2/1991 on the reverse) in connection with the restoration of service vehicle 89Q. Measures 35" x 24" (89cm x 61cm) and is in excellent condition with just a couple of minor edge chips. [1]

The Alexandra Palace branch of the Northern City Line was planned under the 1930s 'Northern Heights' programme. After the War, the planned extension did not proceed and Tube trains never ran to the Palace. A double-sided plate with brass ends. In very good, ex-use condition with small blemishes. [1]
Trio of tramway items comprising two single-sided, enamel TRAM STOP signs: 'Tramway Fare Stage' (21"x 11.5" - 4cm x 29cm) in very worn condition with corrosion, small edge-losses, and 'Tram Stop' (14.5" x 7.25" (37cm x 18cm) in good, ex-use condition, plus a framed BLIND PANEL from Liverpool reading 'Pier Head' (28" x 9" - 71cm x 23cm) in very good condition. Small London Underground enamel PLATFORM SIGN from Greenford station on the Central line. A flanged sign, bullseye type, circa 1950s/60s, measuring 18" x 14" (46cm x 36cm), that was probably located on a pillar. In very good, ex-use condition with just a few minor blemishes, mainly at the bottom edge. Comes with its original, separate wooden backing panel. [1]
GWR ENAMEL NOTICE 'Caution! Unauthorised persons interfering with the electric gear will be instantly dismissed'. Dated January 1910, made by Chromo, Wolverhampton and bottom left states 'Engineer's Office, Loco, Carriage & Wagon Dept, Swindon. An uncommon sign. Measures 11" x 10" (28cm x 25cm) and is in very good, ex-use condition, a couple of very small chips have been touched in. [1]
Leicester Corporation Tramways enamel TRAM STOP FLAG 'Cars stop by request' with a scrolled 'City of Leicester' above (much faded). An amazing survivor, given that the last Leicester tram ran in 1949. The sign is single-sided and slightly curved, probably to fit onto a telegraph pole. It measures 11.5" x 13.5" at maximum and has suffered from corrosion with two small holes at the centre and an area of enamel loss at the bottom but one could speculate that it dates from the introduction of electric trams in 1904. Selection (14) of mainly tramways CAP & LAPEL BADGES including tram issues from Blackpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, South Metropolitan, a Wolverhampton Trolley Bus Driver's licence badge, London bus driver's PSV badge, 'General' lapel badge, GWR cap badge etc. Please note that some, particularly the Glasgow and SMET badges, have enamel losses, the others are generally in very good condition. London Underground 38-Tube Stock enamel CAB DESTINATION PLATE for Bushey Heath / Finchley Cen on the Northern Line. Bushey Heath would have been the new northern terminus of the line had the extension proposed before WW2 taken place but this was abandoned with the introduction of the Green Belt. A double-sided plate with brass ends. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 712 marked 'Saturday' and destinated Epsom, Dorking. Dates from the 1964-68 period when the main service was Saturdays only (other days were covered by the 712A & 712B variants). Probably located from Victoria southwards. In very good, ex-use condition. [1]

Large quantity (40) of London Transport bus stop enamel E-PLATES from across the network and with route numbers between 1 and 810A plus Green Line 702, 717, 724 Exp and Eastern National 402. Includes flat-fare express, prefix-lettered, Red Arrow and Night routes as well as some interesting weekend variants with red digits. Some of the plates are in ex-use, uncleaned condition and some have price-sticker residue but most are in very good condition, subject to a good clean. [40]
Selection (5) of GWR First-Aid MEDALS & BADGES comprising 2 x hallmarked silver Efficiency Medals: 15 years with 20 and 25 year bars issued to Thomas Timson in 1944 and 25 years (gold finish with enamel inserts) with 30 and 35 year bars issued to George W Grainger in 1947. Plus 3 x St John Ambulance Association, GWR Centre lapel badges with detail differences. All are in very good to excellent condition. [5]
Edinburgh Corporation Tramways enamel STOP FLAG 'Cars from Town stop here'. From the city's first-generation tram system which finally closed in 1956. A single-sided sign measuring 14.5" x 7" (37cm x 18cm) and generally in very good, ex-use condition with a couple of small chips to the face. [1]
1950s/60s London Transport enamel BUS STOP SIGN 'Eastbury Park' from a 'Keston' wooden bus shelter in Northwood. The 'Bus Stop' wording was used when a separate bus stop sign on a pole was not present. A flanged, single-sided sign measuring 18" (46cm) square and generally in very good ex-use condition with small holes where LT at one point fitted another plate over the top. [1]
London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 714 destinated Dorking via Kingston. Just 3 pairs of these were recorded: Hyde Park Corner, Knightsbridge Barracks and Kensington High Street, Argyle Road. A very small enamel loss at one corner, otherwise in very good, ex-use condition with the residue of a price sticker. [1]
Pair of 1990s London Transport double-sided enamel BUS STOP FLAGS, both are E3, 'boat'-style flags, the first a compulsory version with E-stickers for routes 123 and N73, the second a request version with E-stickers for route 92, 95 & 105. Interestingly, the latter is devoid of all wording but was able to 'pass' quality control and be used in the Ealing area! The flags measure 18" x 20.5" (46cm x 52cm) and are in very good, ex-use condition with only minor blemishes. [2]

Pair of Reading Corporation double-sided, enamel trolleybus & bus STOP FLAGS comprising a Trolley Bus Stop 'Queue this side/Queue other side' measuring 11" x 17.5" (29cm x 45cm), in good, ex-use condition with some weathering, and a Bus Stop 'Buses stop by request' measuring 18" x 10" (46cm x 26cm), in good, ex-use condition except for some corrosion losses at the post-side edge. London Transport coach stop enamel E-PLATE for Green Line route 705 destinated Slough, Windsor. These were located between Gunnersbury Roundabout and Harlington Corner. Apart from a small enamel loss at the l/h edge where it would be inside the runner, it is otherwise in very good, ex-use condition. [1]
Pair of London Transport RTL/RTW PLATES comprising an enamel RADIATOR BADGE labelled on the reverse to be ex-RTW 423 (entered service 1950 at Harrow Weald (HD) garage, withdrawn 1966 at Brixton (BN) garage and then sold to Ceylon), in very good, ex-use condition, and a Park Royal BODYBUILDER'S PLATE marked on the reverse to be ex-RTL 453 (entered service 1949 at Plumstead (AM) garage, withdrawn 1968 (roofbox body) at Cricklewood (W) garage and subsequently preserved) in ex-use condition. Selection (3) of WW1 War Service LAPEL BADGES comprising a generic 'On War Service' dated 1914 with the imperial crown, an 'OHMS' (On His Majesty's Service) example dated 1915, probably issued to civil servants etc, and another inscribed 'National Reserve, London' with inset imperial crown and 17920 on reverse. All are enamel on brass and in very good condition with only very minor blemishes. [3]
Scarborough Tramways Co double-sided, enamel SIGN for trips on the new 'Toast Rack'. One side advertises a circular tour from the railway station round the Esplanade and Marine Drive, the other to take any car for a trip round the Marine Drive. This tram system operated from 1904 to 1931. In good, ex-use condition with some chips to the enamel and a small corrosion loss at one edge. [1]
London Transport bus stop enamel Q-PLATE 'To Norley Vale only'. This was located on the Alton East Estate in Roehampton and we surmise that it would have been in respect of special or short workings on route 85. An E3-size plate that uses the space of 3 e-plates. In excellent, ex-use condition. [1]
WW1 London Underground Railways LAPEL BADGE ''Railway Service'' issued to key workers on the Underground during the First World War to signify that they were undertaking valuable work. Enamel on brass with the imperial crown. Numbered 1674 on reverse. In very good condition with only tiny blemishes. [1]
