A 19TH CENTURY ENAMEL AND GEM SET BIRD BROOCH, modelled as a robin, with engraved outstretched wings, red enamel breast and rose-cut diamond eyes, clutching a pearl in its beak, issuing a smaller bee bar brooch from a trace-link chain, yellow and rose gold mounted, (pearl untested for origin), panel width 3cm Condition report: There is a hole/large split to the bird positioned to the neck/lower tail on the panel. The bird is hollow, with general surface wear, scuffs and chips and patchy tarnishing throughout. The back of one wing has been filed. The visor clasp fitting is a modern replacement and has dark solder joins at the junctions with the panel. The pin has a dark solder repair at the junction to the hinge and may be replaced. Both the pin and clasp are functioning. The chain is very fine, with dark solder repairs, and the small bee bar brooch has surface wear. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 5.3gm.
AN 18TH CENTURY ENAMEL EGG SHAPED BOX, with crackled blue ground, the hinged cover inscribed 'Long may you Live and be Happy', 5cm long (AF), a small 19th Century enamel egg shaped pendant, with speckled green ground, hinged to reveal two glazed compartments, 2.5cm, and another 19th Century enamel egg shaped pendant, the white ground painted with floral sprays, 5cm (3) Condition report: larger blue egg: damage and loss to the enamel, lid mount detached from base. Pendant green egg: some damage to enamel by hinge. White egg: some cracks and minor discolouration.
A CHARM BRACELET, the hollow curb-link bracelet stamped '15', with 15ct gold padlock clasp hallmarked for Birmingham 1906, suspending a collection of assorted pendants and charms, to include a George V half sovereign, dated 1913, a 9ct gold cat, a 9ct gold motor car, and an enamel fish, length approximately 18cm Approx. gross weight only: 56gm combined
A DIAMOND AND ENAMEL RAF WINGS BROOCH, highlighted with red and green enamel, with single-cut diamond set monogram, 9ct gold mounted, width 5.1cm Condition report: General surface wear throughout, nicks and scuffs to the enamel decoration. Areas of pitting/porosity to back of mount. Diamonds are well matched and fairly bright. Clasp is functioning. Gross weight approx. 4.8gm.
A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY ENAMEL, GILT METAL AND MOTHER OF PEARL OPERA GLASSES, painted with courting couples within garden landscapes, cased, together with a Continental porcelain scent bottle, painted with a portrait of a queen and with gilt metal mounts (2) Condition report: opera glasses lack screw adjustor, otherwise appear ok, the case is a bit worn. Scent bottle mount has been glued on, with visible glue residue to the neck.
AN ENAMEL AND HARDSTONE INTAGLIO RING, the 19th century fluted setting decorated with scalloped red, white and black enamel, enclosing a possibly earlier oval cornelian intaglio carved to depict an animal, (intaglio chipped), in closed-back setting, between tapered foliate engraved shoulders, ring size approximately O - P Condition report: The intaglio has a large chip to one side, which penetrates in to the stone and encroaches on the incised decoration. The intaglio has scuffs, scratches, pitting and nicks, measuring approx. 12mm length x 10.8mm width. The edges of the setting have worn thin and have fine splits and chips. Enamel decoration is heavily worn, with losses, chips and scratches to the enamel. The mount has considerable wear, with deep scuffs and chips, patchy wear to the engraved decoration and some deep filing marks to the interior. An indistinct mark is scratched to the inside of one shoulder, possibly ‘XXXV’. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 5.3gm.
A 19TH CENTURY ROCK CRYSTAL AND ENAMEL MEMORIAL/SWEETHEART LOCKET PENDANT, the scrolled openwork panel with white enamel inscription 'Cage de mon amitie', translating as 'Cage of my friendship', enclosing a faceted rock crystal heart-shaped compartment, length 3cm Condition report: Multiple losses, chips, fractures and pitting to enamel. Heavy scratches and scuffs to both sides of rock crystal compartment, which measures approx. 12mm long x 11mm wide. The edges of the compartment setting have splits and are heavily worn. The rivet to the compartment hinge is protruding to one side, but the compartment opens and closes fairly tightly. The mount is heavily worn. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 3.2gm.

A SILVER AND ENAMEL RECTANGULAR COMPACT, the engine turned box with pale orange guilloche enamel cover, and fitted interior, import marks for H.C. Freeman Ltd, London 1927, 5.5cm, together with a silver and black enamel cigarette case, also with import marks for H.C. Freeman Ltd, London 1926, 7.8cm, 4.5oz (2) Condition report: orange enamel chipped and damaged to front right area. Minor dings and scratches. Black one has some damage to the enamel on edges of the back, and some scratches.
A 19TH CENTURY TORTOISESHELL MINIATURE SCENT BOTTLE CASE, of chamfered rectangular form, the interior fitted with a pair of faceted glass scent bottles and stopper, 3cm high overall, together with a blue glass scent bottle with gilt mounts, 6.5cm, and a French gilt metal mounted enamel egg shaped box, the yellow ground painted in puce and green with cockerels and foliage, 9cm (3) Condition report: scent bottle case in good condition, one of the two glass scent bottles seems stuck in the case, and has visible damage to the neck. The other is ok, and both have their stoppers. Egg box – lower part loose from the mount, some minor hairline cracks visible to the interior, and a chip and some wear/abrasion to the edges.
A 19TH CENTURY SILVER AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL SNUFF BOX, of elongated octagonal form, with domed, hinged cover, decorated in blue and green enamel with a peacock and stylised foliage, the sides with repeated stylised flowerheads, apparently unmarked, 5cm wide (enamel AF) Condition report: lid has a split and small holes. Much of the enamel is worn and missing, several small dents and dings.

Enamel tea strainer is in poor condition with much damage/loss to the enamel. Toddy ladle handle has several small dents and knocks.

Watch appears good, but not working. The other circular timepiece has minor dings and scratches, and appears to run.

A DANISH SILVER OVAL SMALL DISH, by Georg Jensen, with simple embossed border, on ball feet, 7cm wide, together with a Continental silver and green guilloche enamel oval box, stamped 925, 4.4cm wide (2) Condition report: very small knock to the silver edge of the lid of the oval box. Dish has light push dents from the feet.
A LATE VICTORIAN HALF HUNTER FOB WATCH BY J W BENSON, the circular white dial with Roman numerals, to a signed keyless wind ¾ plate movement, the case with pink and blue enamel chapter ring, stamped '18k' and signed J.W.B, with Swiss gold mark, movement and case numbered 648370, monogrammed, case diameter 3.6cm Condition report: Dial with short hair line crack between 7 and 8, crystal - good, case with minor undulations and small dent to the back shoulder, movement winds and runs but not tested or guaranteed, gross weight approx. 44.7gm. Metal standard of case unknown.
A GEORGIAN HALF PEARL AND ENAMEL MEMORIAL RING, centred with a black enamel panel inscribed 'LH', bordered by half pearls, between black enamel foliate scroll shoulders, the tapered hoop carved with further scrolls, flowerheads and foliage, with verso inscription dated 1822, ring size Q Condition report: There is an area of loss to the enamel on one shoulder. Chips, nicks, scuffs and scratches to all enamel panels. General surface wear, scuffs and nicks/chips throughout the mount, carved decoration is fairly crisply defined, the edges of the setting and shank have worn in places. There is a small seam/split to one side of the setting and areas of porosity to the mount interior. The inscription has light wear. Half pearls have fractures, scuffs and pitting to the surface, commensurate for use, and have discoloured to slightly varied greyish-white hues. Metal standard is untested. Gross weight approx. 4.8gm.
AN ENAMEL AND HARDSTONE INTAGLIO PENDANT, the oval agate intaglio depicting a classical figural scene, possibly Hera, the Greek goddess of marriage and childbirth, seated with attendant peacock, and Zeus, the Greek king of Olympus, within a white, green and black enamel frame decorated with flowers and foliage, the fitting with lozenge-shaped mark, together with a further intaglio pendant, the oval cornelian panel depicting a classical warrior scene, to a black enamel frame with bead and ropetwist borders, lengths 4.95cm and 5.7cm respectively (2) Condition report: First pendant: Scuffs, scratches, nicks and small chips to intaglio and mount. Chips, fractures, pitting and scuffs to enamel and several areas of enamel loss. Intaglio measures approx. 43.5mm x 28.5mm. Mount untested as gold/gilt metal. Gross weight approx. 15.7gm. Second pendant: Scuffs, scratches, nicks and small chips to intaglio and mount. Patchy dark staining/discolouration to mount. Chips, scuffs and fractures to enamel border. A 19TH CENTURY YELLOW METAL DESK SEAL, inlaid with panels of colourful hard stones, 5.5cm high, and another modelled as a dragon with enamelled wings, supporting a baroque freshwater pearl, 6cm high (2) Condition report: dragon seal has some loss to the enamel. Other seal has lost three of the coloured hardstone plaques – two from the main body and one from the top part.
