UPDATED DESCRIPTION - Oriental enamelled vase depicting Lotus flowers and four clawed dragons on a yellow ground - Condition reports - Top to bottom - Rim has firing faults but glaze and gilding appear to all be there with one small repair. Inside half way down just below the shoulder is a firing fault crack. Body of vase (outer) firing fault does not appear through - some losses to yellow and white enamel. Base - with firing faults and one small firing fault crack - no chips.

A 19th century Swiss lady's 18ct gold half hunter mourning pocket watch, the case delicately inlaid in black enamel and bearing a monogram, the white enamel dial and movement signed Fritz Piguet, Geneve, bearing an inscription to the interior, "F.W.B. Very early London Underground ENAMEL SIGN 'Highgate Non-Stop between Euston & Kentish Town Northbound'. Double-sided with the layout differing slightly to allow for it to be hung from a bar (hanging lugs on one side). Believed to be ex-1906 Stock and probably dates from the opening of the Hampstead Tube in 1907. Could have hung at a car side window or perhaps in the driver's cab. Measures 24" x 15" (61cm x 38cm) and in ex-use and as-found condition with weathering, some enamel loss and corrosion. An extraordinary survivor, never seen before. [1]
British Railways (Southern Region) enamel STATION TOTEM SIGN from Hove, the ex-LBR, later LBSCR, station, the first out of Brighton on the West Coastway line . A fully-flanged example, standard size of 36" (92cm), in excellent, ex-use condition apart from one blemish on the left-hand flange. Totems for this station are rarely seen. [1]
London Underground enamel PLATFORM BULLSEYE SIGN from Woodford station on the Central Line. The sign is likely to date from 1947 when this section was taken over from the LNER. A 3-piece sign without frame, 58.5" (149cm) across. Lightly-weathered in places but generally in very good, ex-use condition. A rarely-seen sign. [3-parts]
