A Regency mahogany and brass inlaid mantel clock, Cribb of London, enamel dial bearing Roman numerals, eight day, twin fusee movement hour striking on a bell, the case with ball terminal, ring handles and reticulated sound frets, raised on a rectangular base and brass ball feet, 17 by 12.5 by 37cm.
A Phinney-Walker alarm clock lighter, leather box containing two sets of playing cards, teddy bear, three pewter mounted brushes cast with birds, Rauschert porcelain vase, enamel on copper vase painted by Vili with a gallant, Coty 'Vanity Parisienne' compact with lipstick, and a Cherie compact. An 18th century sweetmeat glass, the ogee bowl with dentated rim on an enamel twist decorated knopped stem, raised on a radially moulded foot, 10.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuff and some quite deep scratches. A crack or fault line to the bowl, but which does not seem to extend right to the edges. Base with rough pontil mark.
An 18th century ale glass, the round funnel bowl with engraved decoration of hops and barley on an enamel twist stem decorated with central spiral tapes within a fourteen ply spiral band, raised on a circular foot, 18 cm high CONDITION REPORTS General wear and scuffs. Pontil to base very rough and protruding and with fairly sharp edges.
A pair of 19th century Bohemian enamel overlaid green glass cylindrical vases with castellated rims, one decorated with young woman leaning wistfully upon a stone ledge, the other in a garden feeding a dove, both with floral spray panels verso and all over gilt scrolling foliate decoration raised on a facet decorated circular foot, 30.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs, and some scratches. Wear and rubbbing to gilding. But otherwise appear sound.
A brass cased carriage clock with full length enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to a twin train movement striking on a gong, 13 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Full length enamel dial is cracked and chipped top left corner. Tip of hour hand is bent. Some tarnish to mechanism. Split to front right 'foot' area where the brass appears to have been bent/damaged and has been reshaped and repaired. Various small etched numbers to base. Outer case with surface tarnishing. Platform escapement with blackening to surface also stamped S F. Glass panels intact. No serial number on backplate.
A Victorian mahogany cased mantle clock, the pagoda shaped top over a circular painted dial with Roman numerals and eight day movement, raised on squat bun feet, 44 cm high CONDITION REPORTS General wear and scuffs. Some drying and cracking to veneers. Some chips and scratches. Some losses to veneers, particularly to edges of side apertures. A crack and a small hole to side. A horizontal crack and split to wood and veneers across front. Dial with yellowing, scuffs, scratches and some chips to enamel.
A circa 1900 rosewood and cut brass inlaid mantle clock, the circular enamel dial with Roman numerals to a battery operated movement housed within an octagonal outer case with patinated brass ring handles on a rectangular base, inlaid with an equestrian scene, flanked by side drawer on brass ball feet, 53 cm high (original movement in drawer)
A rosewood cased Chinese mantle clock, the circular enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals to a brass backplate profusely engraved with floral scrolls, with apertures for Chinese script to a twin train movement housed within a glazed fronted case on trestle end supports with foliage fretwork decoration, 50 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs and scratches, and dirt. Some wooden peg type joints appear to be loose and/or missing. Some small chips. Back panel slides upwards to remove, and is a little loose and has some chips/losses. Enamelled dial with hairline cracks to the enamel. Overall appearance of clock, however, appears reasonably good. It is not known whether or not clock is in working order.

Wear, scratches and some dents. Scratches to glass. Wear and dents to edges of cases, and a small split to outer case , opening button top missing. Some scuffs and scratches and a little tarnish to interior. round pillars. movement appears in tact though unsure if working . sold as seen.

A quantity of costume jewellery including a six pane tortoiseshell bracelet, brooches including a scorpion brooch and a 9ct gold, amethyst and blue enamel bar brooch in a knot design, necklaces, and a group of eight various badges including Barnardo Helpers League, Soldiers Sailors and Airmens Families Association, 1910-1970 Diamond Jubilee, Girl Guides, and Brownies badges.
A royal Prussian gold, enamel and diamond set brooch, possibly converted from a ring, early 19th century, of oval form set with King's initials in diamonds against a black enamel ground, in a surround of diamonds, verso engraved 'Frederic William, King of Prussia, to J W (1819), approximately 4ct, 27 by 21mm, together with a Memoir of Joshua Watson, second edition, by Edward Churton, published by John and James Parker, Oxford 1863. Provenance: The Estate of David Powell MBE. Joshua Watson was born in 1771 in London and from the age of ten trained to and became a successful banker. However, he was better known for his religious and philanthropic work, was associated strongly with the Oxford movement and was a founder of the Church Building Society. During the Napoleonic Wars Watson was the Secretary of the Westminster Association for German Sufferers, providing grants for the relief of widows, orphans and others within the kingdoms and states of Germany. For this work he is believed to have been given the jewel by Frederick William III of Prussia (see p.91 Memoir of Joshua Watson).
