A Georgian 18ct open face pocket watch made by Benjamin Webb of London, numbered 6526, the fusee movement has elements of blued steel with a rose cut diamond terminal, hallmarked to the reverse with the date letter for 1779 London marks for George III and 18ct, each mark struck separately among the chased foliage, grapes and shell decoration. Dial in white enamel with red Arabic numerals to the four quarters, the rest in painted in black, with gold coloured fleur de lys hands.
