A late Victorian walnut, amboyna and parcel gilt music stool by Gillow & Co., the upholstered hinged seat to a divided interior, the front inset a convex enamel plaque painted a portrait of a boy, above a drawer stamped `GILLOW & CO., 2701`, flanked by fluted columns on lobed bun feet and sunken brass castors, 20.5in (52.1cm) h, 24in (60.8cm) w, 17in (43cm) d.
A pair of Limoges enamel plates in 16th century style, decorated en grisailles with the labours of the seasons, each with a cartouche inscribed `AVRIL` and `OCTOBRE` and both dated 1550, the rims decorated with grotesques the centres with scenes of agriculture and wine making, late 19th century, 8.25in (20.5cm) dia. Three wooden truncheons; one painted and decorated with Borough of Salford Police Force Coat of Arms, cracked with string repair, 18.5in (47cm) l; a Manchester Special Constable truncheon with printed Coat of Arms and named Edward Atkin 1917-1919, the reverse inscribed G.S. within a banner, with Special Constable enamel badge and another with printed a crown above GR and Coat of Arms for the Country Borough of Walsall Special Constable 1914-1919 with leather strap stamped HIATT`S B`HAM.
