A silver and enamel 'Shamrock' pendant-brooch, by Dieges & Clust, modelled a flag decorated with a green shamrock on yellow background within a green border, 22x18mm. This rare brooch was given to Benjamin Augustus Gawn, for his wife Ella Elsie Gawn, who was part of the Shamrock IV crew during the America's Cup challenge in 1920. Benjamin Gawn had also crewed the J-Class Yachts Endeavour I & II, and was once missing at sea without contact for 6 weeks on a return voyage from America.
