The case with flame mahogany veneer carved ears and LB&SCR numberplate 145 screwed onto the front is in excellent condition. The English chain fusee movement with rectangular plates with shaped shoulders is in good clean condition and the dial has been restored to its original pre grouping dial writing of LB&SCR 145. The Southern Railway clock records show it last in use at Holland Road Goods Office. A lovely early clock in working condition complete with pendulum and key, but not tested for timekeeping. Rare to find a LB&SCR still with its enamel numberplate as they were only applied to around the first 220 clocks.
