Circa 1870 Austrian Ivory Brise Fan, the guard sticks mounted with enamelled gilt metal depicting scrolling branches, inlaid with pearl, turquoise and garnets in a floral design, one guard mounted with a small oval enamel plaque depicting cupid and another, fan is hand painted with two lovers in a pastoral scene with sheep, 20.5cm, in a modern card boxGilt metal mount has no stone losses, but enamel appears to have been later painted onto the gilt, some of the metal is lifting/bent slightly, couple of small areas that have been possibly re-soldered, some of the stones discoloured. Small mark to the bottom of the enamel oval. Some scratches to the ivory and slight wear overall.

Enamel rubbed to the opening knop and around edges. Compact missing, mirror loose to the opposite side. Slight wear overall.Bag - has some discolouration to the lining, some bead losses and tarnishing, thread pulls to the fabric on the top.

A silver cased, fusee pocket watch c.1890 the 42mm white enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. the gilt, full-plate movement signed "John Donegan - Dublin" and numbered 21536, the Irish silver hunter case hallmarked for Dublin, 1890 and maker's mark 'JD' in a shamrock for John Donegan; together with a silver watch chain.

Irish National Volunteers badge. A brass and enamel buttonhole badge, a harp flanked by sprays of shamrock against a green field. 1" (2.5cm) high. Photographic evidence shows that these were used as cap badges. The National Volunteers was the name taken by the majority of the Irish Volunteers that sided with Irish Parliamentary Party leader John Redmond after the movement split over the question of the Volunteers' role in The Great War.
