An 18th century English silver pair cased verge pocket watch, the fusee movement signed 'Roget London', with engraved pierced foliate scroll balance cock, flat brass balance, brass regulating dial and square baluster pillars, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute track and gold hands, the outer case with repoussé figural decoration, case diameter 51mm. * - Winds and runs. Dial has retouched chip around catch at 'VI', two other smaller edge flakes to dial and several long hairlines. Inner case has old soldered repairs to top. Outer case has soldered repairs to holes in repoussé decoration to centre of caseback. Lacks pop button to open.
Hamilton Watch Company - an early 20th century 14ct gold open faced keyless pocket watch, signed 21 jewel engine turned double roller movement, no. 1554410, the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, red and black outer minute track and subsidiary seconds' dial, in a Keystone 50mm. case, no. 6102111, with engine turned decoration and turn-off glass. * Winds and runs. Dial has a chip to edge at 1 o'clock and associated hairline to chapter ring. Caser good with a few very light dings to caseback.
A late-Victorian 18ct gold full hunter fusee pocket watch by John Hawley of London, the case hallmarked Chester 1900, the signed gilt full plate fusee movement with bi-metallic balance and foliate engraved cock with ruby endstone, 44mm. white Roman enamel dial with subsidiary seconds at six, the 52mm. case with engraved monogram. * Watch winds and runs. Replacement glass, which is loose. Dial VG. Case has a dent and several smaller dings to back and several dings and small dent to front cover.
A George III silver pair cased verge watch, the gilt movement signed Jas. Gale, Cannon Street, London, no. 151, the 36mm. white enamel dial with Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute track, both cases plain, the outer 47mm. diameter, London 1782, with key.. * The watch is fully wound and does run briefly but then stops - we suspect the movement is dirty and needs cleaning. Dial has a hairline and bruise to outer edge between 7 and 8 o'clock and small scratches to enamel throughout. Hour hand missing tip. A few small dings to outer case, case otherwise good.

Bautte & Cie, no. 94388, lever movement with hammers striking the quarters on two gongs with slide repeat, white Roman enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, plain 47mm. case with blue enamel Roman chapter ring, engraved monogram to caseback. * Winds and runs. Dial VG. Case good but some small losses from enamel (mainly to inner minute track). Not hallmarked but tests as 18ct gold.
A George IV mahogany and brass strung bracket clock with pull repeat, signed J.R. Saunders, Warminster, the convex white enamel dial with painted Roman numerals and Brequet style hands, an eight day twin fusee movement striking on a bell, the case with brass pineapple finial on a stepped top, with a chipped band to the top and bottom and strung brass detailing throughout, brass ring handles to the side above brass fish scale panels, raised on ball feet. 18 ½in. (46.9cm.) high.
A Japanese silver and enamel vase, Meiji period (1868-1912), of shouldered, bottle form with lotus flower rim, the body with enamelled peony spray decoration, the neck encircled by a coiled snake, two character mark to base, 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) high, losses to enamel. * Small dent to body (opposite side to floral decoration). There are heavy losses to the enamelled decoration on the flowers - please see photos.
A large Chinese export porcelain Canton famille rose punch bowl, worn four character seal mark to base, 19th century, painted with a continuous scene of an extensive lake landscape with pagodas and temples, a bridge and a masted European ship, below a border of foliage, flowers, bats and Shou symbols on an iron red and gilt seed ground, the interior painted in rouge-de-fer and gilt with butterflies, fruit and flowers, 15 ¾in. (40cm.) diameter, gilt wear. * There is a large chip to the footrim from manufacture which is beneath the glaze – this is not a later fault or restoration. Gilt wear to rim and some rubs to decoration to interior. A few minor losses to exterior enamel. There is also a strange flaw to the rim, which appears to be a manufacturing fault - a partially detached flake from the porcelain which has some small chips along the edge - please see the close-up photos of this fault. It does not appear to be a chip which has been re-attached, as there is no evidence of a join at the lower edge
An impressive early 20th century mahogany cased GWR railway wall clock, with single fusee movement and white enamel dial, inscribed "G.W.R. The Westbourne" (Great Western Railway), dial 16in. (40.6cm.) diameter, case 20 ½in. (52cm.) diameter, restored. * Movement is clean and believed to be in good working order. With pendulum and winding key. Dial has been restored and repainted, hands also refurbished. Case has been restored and dial surround cleaned. Pegs securing dial and movement to case are replacements. There is G.W.R. number plate but there is an old trade label for Camerer Cuss & Co. on the lower door.
A 19th century boulle twin train mantel clock, the 'P. Japy et Cie' movement, no. '1271 4 6', striking the hours and half hours on a gong, the 3 ¾in. gilt dial with Roman cartouche enamel numerals and cast floral decoration, within a balloon shaped case with foliate and rocaille mounts and conforming surmount, 15in. (38cm.) high, with key. * Condition: Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Very original condition - no evidence of restoration. Case is quite dirty and dusty. Some surface rust to gong. Hammer is bent slightly to prevent contact with the gong. Overall wear and tarnishing to gilt metal mounts. Very minor lifting to brass boulle inlay in a couple of places. No losses or repairs.
A French ormolu rococo revival mantel clock, 19th century, the twin train movement signed 'G. Poursillie Montauban', no. 436, with outside countwheel striking the hours and half hours on a bell, fronted by a white enamel dial, signed indistinctly, with blue Roman numerals and Arabic outer minute track, the ormolu case decorated with swags, foliage and rocaille, with a seated cherub and two nesting love birds, on scroll and foliate feet, 11½in. (29.25cm.) high. * Winds and runs. Strikes correctly. Surface dirt to upper surfaces of case. Signature to dial rubbed but otherwise good with just minor scratches. Good overall.
A French gilt metal and porcelain matched three piece clock garniture, early 20th century, in the baroque style, the J. Marti & Cie movement striking the hours and half hours on a bell, the Sevres blue enamel dial with Roman numerals and painted landscape, over a conforming panel to the base, the matched gilt metal ovoid vases with similar landscapes on a blue ground, the clock 10in. (25.4cm.) high. (3)
A 'Greenwich Clock' walnut cased mantel clock, early 20th century, made in Germany for W. E. Watts, Nottingham, no.12970, twin train movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong, fronted by a Roman enamel and gilt metal dial, in an architectural walnut case, 17½in. (44.5cm.) high. * Runs and strikes. Good condition overall with no faults. Original label to inside of movement door.
A Swiss ormolu grande-sonnerie pendule d'officier clock by Breguet & Fils, c.1830, the case with fluted pilasters, applied trophies and serpent top handle, on paw feet, the 3¾in. white enamel Arabic dial signed 'Breguet & Fils', with alarm hand, the movement, no. 1016, with balance wheel escapement mounted on the back plate, pull-wind alarm, quarter-striking on two nested bells, trip repeat to side, selection lever to base for Grande Sonerie, Petite Sonerie and Silence, 9½in. (24.25cm.) high inc. handle, 5½in. (14cm.) wide, one foot detached. * One foot detached (screw thread worn). Some wear to gilding. Dial good with no chips or cracks. Some scratches to glass. Alarm functions correctly. Small hole in silk to rear door. Clock is wound but runs only briefly. Will require attention.
