Inert 1916 Dated Shell Fuse Head, battlefield excavated example with various markings; small brass shell case with stampings to the base; engraved plaque “A COY 8TH (SERVICE) BR DEVON REGT – IN MEMORY OF 3 HAPPY MONTHS SPENT AT THE BOURNE 1914-1915”; small Queenie Patent lighter and a Imperial German enamel Iron Cross fob with 1914-16 to the centre and silvered bomb on the black ribbon.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by Paul Seilheimer Solingen, complete with the original wooden grip with enamel SA device and eagle inserted. Housed in its original scabbard with a leather hanger attached. The blade with standard motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” and the reverse with RZM logo and code M7/38 for the maker Paul Silheimer, Solingen. The blade has a presentation inscription “Zur Erinnerung an den 22.1.1940 der S.A. Reitertrupp, Neustadt a.T“. We are oft he opinion that the inscription and the leather hanger are both post war applied.
Third Reich Enamel NSFK Oval Badge, dated 1940 and with pin fitting to the reverse; Adolf Hitler coin / medallion with profile image of the German leader and motto to the reverse; 2x Third Reich period coins; small Reichstag Berlin brass badge and a German patriotic spoon with enamel Iron Cross to the top.
Third Reich SS Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger, with black grip having enamel SS runes emblem and eagle inserted. Housed in scabbard with leather hanger attached. Blade with motto and maker marked with Carl Eickhorn trade mark and RZM code. We are of the opinion that this is an excellent quality post war representation and sold as such.
