A late 19thC Howell, James and Company of Paris brass cased clock and barometer, the clock with circular enamel dial bearing Roman numerals, with complimentary barometer dial, flanking a thermometer, the case of double barrel form, with central carrying handle, raised on four lion's paw feet, 25cm wide.
An Edward VII silver cased pocket watch, by John Forrest, London, chronometer maker to the Admiralty, open faced, keywind, circular enamel dial bearing Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, and movement number 728724, the case with engine turned decoration, vacant shield and garter reserve, Chester 1903, together with a beech wood pocket watch stand.
A collection of Chinese celadon glazed famille rose plates various decorated with butterflies, birds and flowers, largest 26.5 cm diameter, smallest 8.3 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS There are two smaller plates and five larger plates. All plates have firing faults and some losses to the enamel decoration and gilding throughout. One of the smaller plates has a large chip missing to the inside of the foot rim. Otherwise general wear and tear to include surface scratches, etc. See images for more details.
A pair of Chinese cloisonné jardinieres of oval squash form with all over floral pattern decoration on a black/turquoise panelled ground raised on a shallow oval foot 9.5 cm high x 16 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Both have firing flaws, surface scratches, etc to the exterior and some small areas of missing enamel. The interior is showing signs of cracking and in areas lacking enamel. Discolouration, crazing, etc. Both bottoms are uneven with one showing a mottled effect which may have happened during firing. One does not sit quite flat and rocks slightly. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.
A Chinese cloisonné white ground blue enamel decorated dragon design baluster shaped vase 15.5 cm high on a wooden stand together with a smaller pair of black ground Chinese cloisonné vases with butterfly decoration 9 cm high, a small red ground floral decorated dish 9.2 cm diameter and a Chinese cloisonné and champ levée fruit decorated pot and cover 5.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The blue and white vase has several bumps to the body resulting in dents and losses to the enamel work as well as losses of enamel to the foot. Two similar black ground miniature vases - one of straigher cylindrical shape with butterfly decoration and one of lobed form with flower decoration. One has several dents resulting in losses to the enamel as well as losses to the enamel in various places as well. The small red plate has significant losses to the enamel in various places to the underside. All items with general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include firing faults, small faults and losses to the enamel, surface scratches, etc and are in need of a clean. AN UNUSUAL FRENCH ENAMEL BOOK-FORM BOX, 19TH CENTURY the hinged cover painted with a lady holding a parasol, the interior decorated with floral sprays, the spine inscribed TOME FABLES DE LA FONTAINE III. 5.9cm highVarious chips to the enamel, including to the top and bottom corners of the front cover, the bottom edge of the spine. The top corner of the front cover bent back slightly, the front cover with a hairline running horizontally.

Some minor losses of enamel to the rug. The enamel on the watch case is in very good condition. The bezel lacks a glass. In generally good condition commensurate with age.
