The French Royal and Military Order of Saint-Louis, badge, a small gold and enamel Maltese Cross, fleur-de-lis in angles, the centre with St. Louis and on the reverse, a sword and wreath, suspension loop and lined ring, 34mm. The slightest damage to the enamel, otherwise extremely fine and extremely rare. The Royal and Military Order of Saint-Louis was established in 1693. It is not clear whether this Badge dates from the late French monarchy (the Order was suspended in 1792) or from the first Restoration of 1815. The Badge is a companion and of similar manufacture to the Order of Saint-Michael, lot 722

The slightest damage to the central enamel, otherwise extremely fine and extremely rare. The Order of Saint-Michael was established in 1469. It is not clear whether this Badge dates from the late French monarchy (the Order was suspended in 1792) or from the first Restoration of 1815. A collection of seven stick pins, comprising a gold grouse in fitted case by London & Ryder, a pearl and eight diamond cluster pin in fitted case by Mappin & Webb, a diamond and white enamel pin with black enamel boarder and a glazed locket compartment to the reverse in a case by Harrods, a small diamond and four pearl set pin, a gold lovers knot pin, an untested pearl set pin and a white stone and sapphire cluster pin. And a giardinetto brooch set with rose cut diamonds, two rubies and two emeralds in silver on gold, a pair of silver cuff links with light blue guillouche enamel decoration, a silver egg formed pendant with cloisonne decoration, a small dagger with cloisonne decoration and a gold stick pin set with a small pearl.
Salisbury interest: 18ct gold half hunting cased pocket watch, blue Roman numerals to the outer chapter ring, white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds dial, three quarter plate movement numbered 30619, signed James Gater, 9 Canal Street, Salisbury, the inner gold case engraved 'Presented to W. M. Hammick by the South Wilts Constitutional Association, etc, February 26, 1902' engraved with crest and motto to the reverse. Together with some information regarding the Salisbury Constitutional Association.

And an early Victorian silver pair cased pocket watch, the white enamel dial painted with rural scene with a windmill and two horse plough, the movement signed G O. Border, Sleaford, 18996, the case marked for London 1845 by James Barber and William Whitwell, York.
A cased pair of Swiss 'Canton' bracelets c.1830, each mounted with enamel plaques depicting young women in regional costume with the names of corresponding Cantons to the reverse, set overall with coloured gemstones to three colour gold scrollwork and beadwork on a granulated ground, with square shaped buckles with enamel plaques painted with mountainous lake scenes, all in a fitted gilt tooled red leather case, each bracelet 6.5cm long.
A James I child's ring, the gold ring mounted with a rectangular light yellow stone, probably sapphire, the under bezel quartered with red, white, green and black enamel, the shank with a line of blue enamel and gold foliate motifs, white enamel border and red enamel quatrefoil to the base, the shank interior with green enamel leaf decoration to the upper section, some damage to the enamel, 1.5cm wide.
Cartier: square form desk clock, with light blue guilloche enamel face with white and gold enamel chapter ring, the hands millegrain set with rose cut diamonds, a cabochon sapphire to each corner of the shaped square chalcedony face, signed and numbered 8313 and 325 to the gilt metal strut back case, 7.5cm high.
A gold fob watch by Vacheron & Constantine, signed white enamel dial and diamond set fleur de lys to the reverse on light blue enamel ground, scroll border of further diamonds and painted with pink roses to the border, suspended from a gold brooch set with diamonds with similar enamel decoration, signed and numbered 181970.
A gold open faced key wind pocket watch, the ornately engraved three colour gold dial and the three quarter plate movement signed Penlington, number 10846, with two gold watch keys, a two colour gold fancy link watch chain with a gold pendant painted with enamel scene to one side of two lovers, and engraved with a quiver of arrows, in fitted case.
A George III lozenge shaped locket pendant, centred with entwined hearts beneath a lovers knot and set with rose cut diamonds, on a blue enamel ground with white enamel boarder and further row of pearls, glazed locket compartment to the reverse and the suspension ring set with five rose cut diamonds, 4cm high.
