Early Rudge-Whitworth Bicycles Enamel Sign 'Rudge-Whitworth, Britain's Best Bicycle. A Bicycle with a Great Reputation'. Large sign dating from 1900's in blue/black/white. Features large image of a bicycle with a smaller image of a gentleman holding the front wheel, and Rudge-Whitworth insignia. Very attractive, fair condition with areas of damage.
Brooklands Elapsed Time Stopclock Manufactured by Philip Harris & Co, Birmingham. Mounted in black enamel case with brass BARC plaque affixed below silver/black face. Dates from 1920's with top operation button, minutes and seconds dials. Believed to have been used by Ebby Ebblewhite, the official Brooklands timekeeper. Clockwork mechinism faulty otherwise good. 10cm diameter.
