A Colt 3rd model Derringer pistol bearing an engraved presentation inscription to R Wymer, 91st Highlanders, nickel plated and having ivory grips [Reginald Augustus Wymer (1849-1935), soldier and artist, commissioned in the 34th Foot Regiment in 1867; transferred to the 91st Highlanders in 1870; Captain in the 2nd (Militia) Battalion of the Queens Own Cameron Highlanders; and retired Major in 1905.
