TWO VICTORIAN MOTHER OF PEARL AND TORTOISESHELL CARD CASES AND AN ETUI, A GLOVE CASE AND A SPECTACLES CASE, one card case with abalone inlay and rounded sides, the other with a geometric design, both 10.5cm x 7.8cm, the etui with mother of pearl and abalone shell to the hinged cover and front, tortoiseshell to the back and sides, blue silk and velvet interior, lacks fittings, height 9.5cm, s.d., the glove case has an expanding leather base, the interior is blue silk lined and comes with silver handled ivory glove stretchers and the spectacles case with hinged top (5) (Condition report: card case with abalone inlay has a working hinge but it is loose and has signs of a previous repair, the other has a break at the hinge and missing mother of pearl down one edge, chips to corners and replacement mother of pearl, the etui has external damage to the area around the hinge, other splits to the front, the glove case has some scuffs to the leather but is otherwise in reasonable condition and the spectacles case lacks three sections of mother of pearl from the bottom edge and the hinge has had a glued repair)
