Revolver: A Tranter's Patent .230 Cal pocket revolver. Single action. Frame marked 'Tranter's Patent' & SN: 39049. Brass frame with acanthus scrolling. Barrel 2" engraved 'H.W. EGG. No 1 Piccadilly London'. Brass buttplate with cartridge ejector rod. One piece ivory grip steel trigger guard. Deactivated with certificate. Contained in its fitted polished mahogany? maker's case with trade label for Henry Egg. Gun, Rifle and Pistol manufacturer to the Royal Family. Oil brush and cleaning bristle brush A note included from the vendor stating the revolver was used on stage at the Stretford Empire during his music hall act. Also a former Equerry to King Edward VII. Pistol dates from end of 19th century. A fine lot with an interesting provenance. (Box no key & lacks keyhole escutcheon)
Sword: A fine 1831 Pattern General Officers Mameluke sword, formerly the property of Colonel E.A. Wood. Blade etched with Crown & 'V.R.' and 'E.A. WOOD' & 'X ROYAL HUSSARDS' two piece ivory grip (with minor repair) polished steel scabbard with gilt mounts with two suspension rings. Colonel E.A. Wood served in the Afghan War 1878-9 and participated in the assault of Ali Musjid and operations in the Leighman Valley. Mid and Afghan medal with clasps.
A Collection of Old Sheffield Plate and Close Plated Items, comprising an oval cake or bread basket with pierced sides and swing handle, a tea caddy with ivory knop, a pair of bottle coasters with pierced sides, and a dish cross (5) Bases of coasters loose and one split. Handles of dish cross are very malleable and bend very easily. Tea caddy fair. Basket fair. All with signs of copper coming through.

Good order throughout.
A George III Silver Pedestal Coffee Pot, maker's mark miss-struck six times for Duncan Urquhart & Naphtali Hart, London 1806, rounded rectangular form with a reeded band, with a hinged cover with silver knop, sweeping handle with ivory insulators and a square section spout, raised on four ball feet, 25cm high, 25oz 8dwt Thin gauge of silver. Let in panel to one side. Small minor bruises. Overall fair condition. Marks mis-struck four times over each other with no letters visible, then twice, each missing some of the letters off.
