A Victorian oak stick barometer, J.H. Steward, London, late 19th century, with cavetto cornice above glazed twin canted ivory vernier scales calibrated in barometric inches one labelled 10 A.M. YESTERDAY, the other 10 A.M. TODAY and signed J.H. STEWARD, 54 CORNHILL & 406 STRAND, LONDON across upper margin, the case with twin vernier adjustment screws to throat above slender trunk and disc turned cover to the cistern with level adjustment screw to underside, 93cm high.
A George III tortoiseshell veneered, ivory strung and silver mounted tea caddy, late 18th century, of rectangular form, the hinged cover with quatreform green stained tortoiseshell panel with mother of pearl inset fleur-de-lys at the points, the silver swing handle and hinges, hallmarked for London 1798, maker`s mark `WS`, with blonde tortoiseshell panels to front, back and sides, the interior with twin subsidiary caddies with hinged covers flanking a star-cut glass bowl, 13.5cm high, 30.5cm wide. Note: There were a number of silversmiths using very similar marks at this period, including smallworkers

MARKLIN 00 TWE 700 Tinplate Diesel Electric Rail Car in Red and Ivory livery with a Silver roof mounted on two four wheel bogies with hand reverse. The Car is electrically lit with cut out windows and celluloid panes. The model is complete apart from some missing celluloid window panes - the tinplate body with TWE 700 and Marklin made in Germany in Gold and Black lettering to the front and rear and 1 and 2 in Gold to both sides is in Good condition. 2 of the Driving wheels (one on either side) have metal fatigue cracks. Remaining wheels and the tinplate motor bogie and rear bogie frames are in Good condition. The motor is complete but untested - the centre pick ups have wear grooves which suggest moderate to heavy use.
