Attractive Qashqa'i rug of recent production, Fars, south west Persia, probably woven in the last 10 to 20 years, 5ft. 3in. X 4ft. 1.60m. X 1.22m. Very finely woven with superb design of cypress trees among tree of life and bid majnun (weeping willow) trees on an ivory field; dark blue leaf and flowerhead main border. Lustrous wool and soft handle.
