The frame would appear to be gold but has not been tested by us although there is a small file mark on the side indicating that it may have been tested in the past. Majority of the fittings with difficult to discern but Continental marks, thimble is marked and probably associated, silk winders are not a pair, one has maker's mark GV (?) - possibly associated, slightly less well fitting. Slight loss to one point of scissors, bodkin slightly misshapen, overall generally good order
