Charles Linsell (act. circa 1800 - 1832), fine miniature on ivory portrait of a young woman with her hair in ringlets and wearing a white dress with coral bead necklace and pink silk accoutrements, in a fine quality ormolu frame with cast shell and scroll decoration, in original leather fitted case, 9cm x 7cm, the frame 15.5cm x 13.5cm - notes on reverse suggest the sitter may be Elizabeth or Mary Randal of Oxford, circa 1810 CONDITION REPORT Very good overall condition, no signs of wear or damage to miniature. Ormolu frame has good crisp colour. Some wear to leather outer case commensurate with age

Cream jug has two or three dings on one vacant cartouche. Marks are clear. No evidence of major damage or repair
Fine quality 19th century French silver and silver gilt part canteen of cutlery with engraved initials - comprising twelve silver tablespoons, twelve silver gilt dessert spoons, twelve silver gilt dessert forks, twenty-four dessert knives with mother of pearl handles, eight pastry knives with gilt metal blades and ivory handles, twelve silver gilt teaspoons, silver gilt serving spoon, silver gilt sifter spoon and a silver soup ladle - some pieces stamped - JAMET, in original fitted case. Approximately 98ozs weighable silver (83 pieces in total) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition excellent - some minor surface scratching. Pastry knives are not original to canteen, one wrong handle, slightly scuffed otherwise very good. All silver gilt has very minor surface scratching and some tarnishing. Dessert knives - 12 have original silver gilt blades, other 12 have replacement steel blades. Mother of pearl handle are very good, some minor wear. Silver ladle excellent, some minor surface scratching. Canteen measures externally, 48cm long, 30cm wide and 13.5cm deep with lid closed. Condition very good, some minor wear to interior and external surface slightly scuffed
