Hand painted leaf with an elegant couple in a garden being served by a waiter and importantly with several examples of the newly introduced ‘Cabriolet’ carriage. This type of carriage was invented in the middle of the 18th century and became instantly popular with the rich and fashionable gentry. Length 26 cm.
