SUSIE COOPER (1902-1995); from the studio of, orange ground vase with incised scroll pattern, signed and dated 1932, height 16cm, and for the Crown Works Burslem factory a 'Kestrel' teapot, variegated blue and ivory line decoration with dark blue spot decoration to the handle, rim and spout, pattern no.102202 (indistinctly marked) (2). CONDITION REPORT The orange jug has areas of tiny blistering to the glaze and some areas of glaze loss. No obvious signs of repair. The teapot has crackle all over the glaze. The inside of the rim of the teapot has some of the lip missing and it has cracked away and there is a crack. Plenty of crackle to the body. Some chips to the base.
A Carlton ware lustre oval bowl, green and red sponge decorated ground with floral hand painted decoration of poppy seeds, flora and foliage, pattern no. to base 0/29923790, length 25cm, a Beswick Kathy Urbach design vase, celadon ground with raised abstract floral and circle decoration, height 18cm, and a Charlotte Rhead Bursley ware bowl and cover, ivory ground with hand painted raised flora and foliate gilt heightened decoration, height 12cm (3).
A late 19th/early 20th century Welsh/Durham quilt, ivory ground with raised star pattern, with all-over deep pink, pale pink and sky-blue floral decoration, verso all-over large pink flower blooms, 213 x 186cm. CONDITION REPORT There are some stained patches and an overall browning of the original cream colour. Two holes to one side, both sides displaying stains. Some wearing through to the sides, as well as general fraying, some loose threads, etc.

A rare and exquisite 18th century young boy's silk suit, exemplifying the delightful Rococo era, knee-length breeches and flared below the waist jacket, in vibrant kingfisher blue silk, with ivory silk lining, embroidered to the collar, front of coat and sleeve cuffs, with sequins and gold thread, also to the sides of the breeches and embellished with shocking pink silk satin bows with gold wirework tassel thread, both breeches and jacket are lined and interlined. CONDITION REPORT As with many textiles, there are areas of wear. The suit is intrinsically intact, the embroidery and wirework is still exquisite, with no visible missing areas. The fine silk has age-related areas of wear and various tears. The interior is also quite worn and some of the silk lining has disintegrated. Overall, a stunning and rare example of children's 18th century clothing.
A group of Victorian ladies' clothing to include a mourning suit of black silk taffeta, full flowing skirt, fitted bodice top with whalebone stays and whalebone stays to the front of the jacket, with applied lace and ribbon decoration, tiny black buttons to the front, the interior lined with faded grey floral fabric, skirt and jacket both lined and interlined, a fitted black wool jacket with applied embroidered braid and ribbon decoration, bell sleeves with ribbon decoration, an ivory silk blouse with lace inserts to the top and to the centre of the blouse and lace cuffs, a black straw bonnet with ribbon and lace decoration, a sky blue and ivory bodice top with whalebone stays and applied broderie Anglaise to collar, front of blouse and sleeves and a Victorian lace velvet and bead wedding cap (7).

ROYAL WORCESTER; a Victorian blush ivory potpourri jar and cover, with moulded design to represent basket work and painted with garden sprays, pierced top with finial, pattern no.1286, green factory stamp and dated 1900, height to top of lid 32cm. CONDITION REPORT The finial on the lid has been repaired/re-painted. The inside of the lid shows areas where it has been glued and repaired. There is a newish chip to the rim. There are some wear to the outside of the body. Would benefit from a clean.
