A large Chinese archaic style carved ivory dragon turtle seal, probably 19th century, the dragon turtle with head raised and open mouth, seated upon an oval seal with carved Zhuanshu calligraphy beneath, 3 7/8in. (9.8cm.) high. * Please note that this lot is subject to international CITES regulations. A small Tekke Bokhara rug, worked in madder, dark blue, red, ivory and brown, the two rows of five octagonal gols within a repeating rosette border and multiple guards, with long fringes, 44½ x 40½in. (113 x 103cm.). *Slight fading to one side. Some losses to fringe at one corner. Two or three very small moth losses to pile at one end (1 x 3mm.).

An early 19th century French carved and silver gilt inlaid bone fan, the guards with shell carving and pierced and silver gilt inlaid foliate decoration, the sticks similarly decorated, the leaf printed and hand coloured with a pastoral scene between embossed and gilded sprays of fruiting vines, a similar smaller reserve with two noblewomen and embossed gilt decoration verso, with ivory silk tassel, 10¾in. (27.25cm.) long. * Condition: Piece missing from bottom of one guard (just above baluster shaped hinge section). Crack & chip with small inserted repair to lower guard on other side. Sticks in good condition with no faults. Leaf has minor wear and small end splits along folds. Tear across top of one fold of leaf just to right of main image. Some wear and glued tears to leaf on left hand guard. Four small paper patch repairs to back of leaf to left hand side.

Vollplastisch geschnitzter Korpus des gekreuzigten Christus im Dreinageltypus. Wohl ursprünglich Teil eines Kruzifix. Korpus H. ca. 17,5 x B. 12,5 cm. Rahmen H. 34,5 x B. 26 cm. (Korpus gering verschmutzt und partiell gering bestoßen z.B. Finger).

Two trays of Royal Worcester blush ivory cabinet plates, decorated with flowers, dragonflies and butterflies, together with two similar comports, puce printed marks to the base. (12 plates and 2 comports)(B.P. 21% + VAT) One plate has various hair cracks, the taller comport in very poor condition with damage and repair with old staples. Another two cabinet plates at least are cracked.

Indian ivory letter knife with carved elephant terminal, 21cm long approx and a Chinese ivory dice shaker overall carved with figures amongst foliage with foliate panel to base, 6.5cm approx. Together with a Chinese ivory dome cover pill box, overall with figural and foliate carving, 3.8cm diameter approx. (3) (B.P. 21% + VAT) All three items are grubby. Tip of knife is missing - otherwise no obvious damage.
