A Victorian Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service, Messrs Barnard, London 1847, of hexagonal baluster form in the Gothic Revival taste, with foliate C scroll engraved decoration, the covers with pointed finials, engraved with an armorial to one side and a crest of a garb to the other, the coffee pot 28cm high, 78oz 2dwt (4) All with clear marks to underside. Covers and handles part marked. Ivory insulators to coffee and tea pots. The foot on each piece has been knocked and requires straightening to sit flat. Finial to teapot leaning. Finial to coffee pot lacking wing nut and seemingly soldered in place. Decoration mostly clear with some light wear in places.
A Silver Gilt Four Piece Coffee Service with Twin Handled Tray En Suite, Garrard & Co, London 1975/76, melon fluted and with a band of engraved decoration to shoulder, the oval tray with shaped rim and conforming decoration, the pots and tray with carved ivory handles and finials, the tray 42cm wide over handles, the coffee pot 17.5cm high, 84ozt (5) With CITES A10 (non-transferable) licence no.573112/01All with crisp marks. Gilding rich and bright. A few hairline cracks starting to appear on ivory handles, Some very light surface scratching to surface of tray. Covers all fit and close well.
A Victorian Silver Three Piece Tea Service, Edward & John Barnard, London 1855, circular on pedestal foot, the teapot with melon finial, engraved with a band of foliate strapwork decoration, one side engraved with a monogram, the teapot 27cm long, 45oz 18dwt (3) Marks clear to underside, cover finial and handle part marked. Ivory insulators to teapot. Handle is slightly loose and a small split next to the insulator on the bottom junction. Occasional minor light bruise. Engraving mostly very crisp. A very small hole to embellishment just above opening of spout. Light circular scratch on cover caused by the finial rotating.
A William IV Silver Four Piece Tea and Coffee Service, Hayne & Cater, London 1837, squat circular melon fluted form with acanthus embellishments, the hinged covers with a bird finial, the coffee pot 25cm high, 78oz 12dwt (4) Marks all generally clear. Covers, finials, wing nuts and handles to pots are part marked. Pots with ivory insulators. Gilding to interior of cream and sugar is pale. Feet to all slightly mis-aligned and would need straightening slightly to prevent wobbling on a flat surface. A few knocks to the body of each piece, mostly at the widest point.

Good heavy gauge. Occasional surface scratching but generally good condition.
