(Restauration au placage et doublage arrière à la tête de lit). A “Katz” two-place Macassar ebony veneer bed, circa 1923, inlaid with ivory. (Minor restorations). ANDRÉ ARBUS (1903-1969) Rare commode basse, circa 1935-1937, piétement laqué ivoire présentant de courts sabres galbés soulignés de crosses à l`avant et d`où s`élancent des lambrequins souples soutenant le corps entièrement gainé de parchemin, la façade forme un ressaut violonné central ouvrant par trois tiroirs soulignés latéralement de deux rangées de trois tiroirs, l`ensemble des tiroirs sont soulignés de joncs galbés, prises sphériques en ivoire soulignées de courts chapiteaux. (Parchemin d`origine remplacé postérieurement sur les côtés et le tiroir inférieur gauche, restauration de laque sur le piétement gauche). A rare low commode entirely covered with parchment, three wide central drawers with three smaller drawers on each side. Lacquered protruring curved base and four short curved legs, ivory round pulls and keyholes. Circa 1935-1937. (Two parchment pieces replaced and one restoration of lacquer on the left leg).
