Nedidi-Yemani (Pouliniere Egyptienne); Précieuse (Pouliniere Anglaise), two works, lithographs with hand-colouring, on ivory wove paper, each sheet approx. 400 x 540 mm. (15 3/4 x 21 1/4 in), some minor spotting and surface dirt, unframed, [probably early 19th century]; together with a good group of 19 further prints of horses, including seven lithographs after Carl Vernet by Delpech, 'Leopold' by James Ward, two plates from the horse manual of William Cavendish, first Duke of Newcastle (1593-1676), 'Primrose and Foal' after James Ward, 'The Thatcher' of Morland, and seven others, lithographs, engravings, mezzotint, on various papers, largest 430 x 560 mm. (17 x 22 in), some occasional spotting, surface dirt and browning, one or two trimmed, all unframed, [mainly 19th century], (21).
