Early XIX Century Mamaluke, high status Egyptian sword, it has a single curved blade with the 10" double edge at the tip, the blade has islamic motifs on both sides and some rust noted, it has a brass cross guard and wood and ivory hilt, in its wooden scabbard with brass fitting, very good condition overall.

CONDITION REPORT: Due to the ivory insulators we are unable to ship this lot outside of the EU. Teapot: the lid hinge is slightly loose and a later glued foot rim. Minor surface wear throughout the lot.

General wear throughout.
A 19th century carved ivory figure of a cherub holding aloft the Epistle of Paul to the Colossians 2:14, raised on rectangular teak plinth, height 14cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is a repair to the left foot, repairs to protrudements from sash, thumb is missing, wings are missing and there is a small plugged hole to the top of the scroll. Height not including the base is 12cm.
