The Emperor is depicted in a robe and hat with finely carved dragon decoration, seated in a high relief dragon motif and paws footed chair, one hand holds his court beads with austere face. The empress is depicted in a robe and hat with finely carved phoenix decoration, seated in a high relief phoenix motif and paws footed chair, wearing court beads on the neck and hand holds a warmer bag with amiable face. Both with wood stands and marked “Qianlong” on the bottom of figures, late 19th century/early 20th century. In very good condition, 14cm high without stand.
