A George III ivory tent top tea caddy. With ebony banding and stringing and having bronze axe head handle, silver escutcheon and shield cartouche inscribed G.M.W., 11cm. Internal lid missing. No key. Hair cracking to the ivory. Small split near the hinge to the back. One hinge pin cover lacking.

Decorated with Watteaesque figures and opening to reveal a moss agate tablet and ivory portrait miniature of a lady wearing a black feathered hat and choker. Punch marks, 6cm. Missing a small amount of serrated holding triangles front and rear. No other issues. Clasp functioning.
